Anyone else seeing clips from the Mahomes show on Netflix? - WeezyBengal - 07-12-2023 I've seen clips on this show about him talking about wanting to play us in the playoffs, also seen clips of him talking shit to Crosby in one of their games... Man, it just brings back feelings of sadness losing in that AFCC game last year. That one still hurts and these clips are just making it resurface. I will say, I didn't realize Mahomes has that kind of fire I've seen in these clips...always thought he was more of a the quit, conservative type. But damn... <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8">
RE: Anyone else seeing clips from the Mahomes show on Netflix? - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 07-12-2023 Was just seeing a bit of this, Mahomes does have a lot of fire. I love it honestly, makes our rivalry even better. I didn't see him go after Mad Maxx like that until now either. He pretty much nailed it on our matchups in the AFC how we are better than the Bills but we had a banged up OL and our guys CAN talk a lot, but Apple isn't here anymore so that is one talker out of the rivalry. Still, Kelce talks a lot of crap too, it goes both ways. They have been talking a lot of shit this Offseason after winning their first game against us out of the last 4. Gonna be fun playing them again this year at least once most likely. RE: Anyone else seeing clips from the Mahomes show on Netflix? - samhain - 07-12-2023 He's tired of the Bengals talking? Really? So his solution is to talk more? I think we beat the shit out of these guys if healthy this year. RE: Anyone else seeing clips from the Mahomes show on Netflix? - BengalsLUFC - 07-12-2023 Currently on episode 2 and I’m sick of hearing the Kermit sounding ***** and his idiot wife. Respect him as a player he is no doubt the number 1 qb in the league right now but what a self important ***** he’s coming across as. Maybe I would feel different if he didn’t flop like a ***** on the Ossai play and constantly whinge and plead for flags. BTW haven’t seen OBJ beaten on one play so far yet in the game highlights they have shown. Also Cousins family are a set of weirdos if I was hitchhiking and they offered to give me a ride I’d carry on walking. He's #1 when given 8 downs, home field, & 10 absurd calls/no calls in his favor.... sure. If I was starting a team tomorrow Burrow would be first pick nailed on. However doesn’t detract that Mahomes is a magician and can do things nobody else in the NFL Joe included. He’s still a massive throbbing ***** though. RE: Anyone else seeing clips from the Mahomes show on Netflix? - michaelsean - 07-12-2023 Wouldn’t watch it in a bet. RE: Anyone else seeing clips from the Mahomes show on Netflix? - KillerGoose - 07-12-2023 The trash talk between the Bengals and Chiefs has been so playground-esque I am surprised it gets under anyone's skin. Mahomes' comment was "I want to play the Bengals. We haven't beaten them yet and I'm tired of them talking." It's actually an enjoyable rivalry. There is just enough emotion in the games to make them entertaining but it doesn't feel like they are on the cusp of bloodshed like the mid-2010's Steelers games. Still it is a bit chippy at times and I love it. RE: Anyone else seeing clips from the Mahomes show on Netflix? - Shouldamapads - 07-15-2023 Binged it yesterday with my wife. Mahomes does talk highly of himself, but he's elite. I personally like more humble personalities. I think it is so much more painful when a player says nothing and is a silent assassin like Joe. Pat's wife wasn't quite as bad in the show as she's been portrayed, but a kid with a $2K purse is a bit excessive. I did gain a TON of respect for Mariota and Cousins though. Both are very genuine and clearly very good people. I really didn't have much of an opinion of both, but now I am fans of them. If you haven't seen it- there's a line in it and it cracked me up- bet he's got a bunch of Kohl's cash. It will make sense when you see it, but it was pretty funny. Always liked Cousins and Mariota off the field and definitely agree on rather having a silent assassin like Joe Burrow over Mahomes and all the talk. It's okay to talk when you back it up though as he has many times before. He will have his work cut out for him though to ever even up our series. They barely squeaked out 1 win out on us out of the last 4 and they needed help from the refs. |
