Stats leaders at end of season, where we stack up - bengalfan74 - 07-12-2023 With 71 games left are any Reds records in jeopardy with all these youngin's being on fire ? The all time Reds single season hits leader is Charlie Hustle with 230 in 1973. Right now Spencer Steer has 90 so I doubt that one falls. Frank Robinson scored 134 runs in 1962. There were a couple guys in 1880's that scored more but I'll stick to more modern stats. Right now our leader is India with 65 and he's played in every game. He's going to have to really turn it back on to have a chance. I'll say it stands as well. We have co doubles leaders at 51 Robinson again in 1962 and Rose in 78. Steer is in the lead with 19, India has 17. I'd bet that one is safe as well. Triples could get interesting. There's a bunch of guys in the 20's and teens in 3B's but the vast majority are like pre WW1 and 1800's. The more modern leader is Vida Pinson with 14 in 1963. Rose had 11 twice in the 60's and 70's. Benson and McClain both have 4 DLC has 2. But with his speed the triples might add up quick with him? HR's George Foster 52 - 1977 it's safe. RBI's George Foster 149 - 1977, Johnny Bench 148 - 1970 Today's leader is Fraley with 52, Steer 51 Stolen Bases - Eric Davis had 80 in 1986, Joe Morgan 67 in 1973 and here's where things could get interesting if Elly gets on base enough? He's stolen 16 bases in 30 games only getting caught 2 times. I could see him getting 40 more in the 71 remaining games as he gets better at the timing. Again there's guys with 130 or something? in 1885 or whatever. I just wanted to take a look and see what's up with this. Next season I could see some records falling. RE: Stats leaders at end of season, where we stack up - grampahol - 07-12-2023 EDLC might set the record for outrageous innings. Who knows..maybe he'll steal first, second, third and home in the same at bat..lol Maybe he'll be the first Red to cause the opposing pitcher to keel over on the mound from embarrassment..
