Collins released - BengalsLUFC - 09-12-2023 https://x.com/fieldyates/status/1701703150800126257?s=46&t=KykfZ347urC7n4SwKapNFg This team makes me want to drink. Don’t understand this one at all he was far better than any of the back ups we’ve now got in the squad. Stupid decision. RE: Collins released - phil413 - 09-12-2023 We knew this was a possibility. How much of their remembering cap space can they roll over into next year? RE: Collins released - CJD - 09-12-2023 ...but why? According to this they are saving $7M in cap space. Hopefully there's some free agent o-linemen we can sink the money into. RE: Collins released - NotBigzo - 09-12-2023 But Why? RE: Collins released - BengalBob - 09-12-2023 Bringing back on a cheaper deal? Space for Dalton Risner? Cap savings only? Collins washed? RE: Collins released - NotBigzo - 09-12-2023 What are the chances we bring him back on a cheaper deal? Shit, teams like the Bears or Giants would probably overpay. RE: Collins released - BengalsLUFC - 09-12-2023 Saving 7 million on a possible starting RT great back up guard. Just the Bengals all over isn’t it! Pay for good players get good players now we are relying on Jonah working out or it’s back to ***** Jackson Carmen. God help us and Burrow RE: Collins released - Essex Johnson - 09-12-2023 (09-12-2023, 06:29 PM)BFritz21 Wrote: Hopefully there's some free agent o-linemen we can sink the money into. You mean free agents that might work out. obviously the $$ we dropped on Collins did not RE: Collins released - Sled21 - 09-12-2023 (09-12-2023, 06:30 PM)NotBigzo Wrote: But Why? Probably means his rehab suffered a setback. Or, they're bringing him back on a cheaper deal. RE: Collins released - Clark W Griswold - 09-12-2023 Reached a deal with Higgins? No idea why they did this now. Timing seems odd to me. RE: Collins released - Nepa - 09-12-2023 Shocked. Something that I never expected to see when I logged onto Bengals Board just now. RE: Collins released - Nicomo Cosca - 09-12-2023 Don’t get this one at all. RE: Collins released - ochocincos - 09-12-2023 The past two years, the RT has gone to IR late and had to rely on the likes of Adeniji and Prince in the playoffs. But don't worry, Jonah will be perfectly healthy and play to the level we need him to play. We don't need to worry about having a competent backup RT. The first backup to RT is actually D'Ante Smith btw for those saying Carman. RE: Collins released - casear2727 - 09-12-2023 Why is everyone so worried and upset? We have Jackson Carman and D'Ante Smith................... RE: Collins released - Housh - 09-12-2023 Has to be to make room for Tee cause i see no reason why you wouldn’t let him rehab this year if he indeed can’t get ready and go into camp with a former pro bowl RT with Jonah likely Leaving RE: Collins released - TheFan - 09-12-2023 (09-12-2023, 06:42 PM)Nicomo Cosca Wrote: Don’t get this one at all. The coaches saw how well we played week 1 and decided we are set. RE: Collins released - casear2727 - 09-12-2023 (09-12-2023, 06:39 PM)Sled21 Wrote: Probably means his rehab suffered a setback.
