Long time award winning ESPN NFL reporter Chris Mortensen passed away this morning at 72 years old. Truly the best at what he did. RIP Mort.

Truly a good man. He added a lot to my NFL diet over the years. I don't know why football news seemed more consequential when it came from him, but it did. He commanded respect naturally. RIP good sir.
