I'd sit him just to be safe. As long as we have AJ/Jones/Sanu/Gio going, we should be fine for this week. The 49ers have the 30th ranked defense. I'd expect more Hill and Gio carrying the ball in this game. We'll need Eifert more for Denver.

Keep in mind McCarron has more of a report with Kroft and Uzomoah than Eifert, which aids the ability to let Tyler rest an extra week if needed. I'd rather he focus on getting ready for Denver than San Fran. With that said, it'd be nice to have Tyler and AJ get work together.
