Chase Brown Averaging 6 Yards a Carry - kevin - 09-23-2024 OK, he doesn't have many carries yet. 7 carries for 42 yards. Still, 6 yards a carry might be worth giving him a few more touches. We saw last year that if he gets past the trenches, he has long gain ability, break away speed. Speed you can't teach. Might be something to watch for as Bengals move forward, if this kid breaks out and becomes Bengals #1 back, it could happen. Whatever Bengals have to do to WIN. Hey, if the guy from Indy helps them WIN, so be it. Start getting some Wins though. Bengals tried a sweep in Red Zone against Chiefs, and announcer said Bengals RB should have cut it up into the hole. No gain on the play. That's the old Lombardi Paul Hornung goal line sweep pretty much, it calls for a speed back. Chase Brown might have got outside and cut up into a gap faster, maybe for a touchdown in the Red Zone, but it wasn't Brown in on the play. RE: Chase Brown Averaging 6 Yards a Carry - Bengalitis - 09-23-2024 with no WR around, RBs & TEs game plan from the start of the season should have been the strategy.. The coaches need to get a better oversight of the personnel. They are trying to play as if we have the personnel of the playoff run.... game 2 was a bit better.. but too little to late |
