Volson holding calls - Sled21 - 09-29-2024 I missed the second one, but I really didn't see much to justify the first one. RE: Volson holding calls - Rubekahn29 - 09-29-2024 RB bouncing outside played a factor. Don’t think Volson was prepared for that. RE: Volson holding calls - bfine32 - 09-29-2024 Holding was the least of his issues, He damn near broke Joe's ankle RE: Volson holding calls - Joelist - 09-29-2024 (09-29-2024, 06:18 PM)bfine32 Wrote: Holding was the least of his issues, He damn near broke Joe's ankle No he didn't. OK https://clutchpoints.com/bengals-news-joe-burrow-limping-badly-big-hit-panthers Quote:On the Bengals first drive, Burrow's foot was stepped on by his own offensive lineman in Cordell Volson. Burrow's ankle appeared to roll as a result, and while he ultimately ended up staying in the game, he was limping around the field quite badly, worrying fans that he had suffered an injury on the play. Burrow is fine. It was no one’s fault, just something that happened in the heat of play. RE: Volson holding calls - sandwedge - 09-29-2024 Funny OBj had a holding call and no one says a thing. The second one, was Moss trying to bounce outside when he was supposed to go inside. Well, thing is, penalties negatively affect overall grades. When Volson plays bad most everyone says so, he played good yesterday once again and you cannot bring yourself to even acknowledge it. Those scary plays happen with the best OL in the NFL, it is a part of the game.
