2022 redraft - pulses - 10-29-2024 Who would you take now instead of Dax Hill and so forth? Ebikettie and Jurgens would have been good 1st rounders for us they are having good starts to their careers. RE: 2022 redraft - puddycat - 10-29-2024 That was the year we signed Karras, Cappa, and Collins on the OL, tagged Jessie Bates, resigned Apple, and replaced Uzomah with Hurst. We had good starters across the offensive skill positions, and depth at DE with Ossai and Sample. The secondary and OL were taped together with FAs. I don't have a problem with our draft other than the continuing issue of drafting players and then hoping they can change positions (Dax Hill, Zachary Taylor and Cordell Volson). I might have elevated TE and OL as needs, but we had just drafted Carman, Trey Hill, and Dante Smith the previous year. RE: 2022 redraft - Synric - 10-29-2024 Travis Jones instead of Cam Taylor-Britt. RE: 2022 redraft - J24 - 10-29-2024 1st RD- I would still pick Dax but I would have moved him to SS instead of FS. 2nd Rd- Martin Emerson CB(Browns) 3rd Rd - Kerby Joseph FS(Lions) 4th Rd- Zac Tom OT (Packers) 5th Rd- Darron Bland CB (Dallas) 6th.) NA 7th.) Brock Purdy QB(49ers) RE: 2022 redraft - ochocincos - 10-30-2024 (10-29-2024, 05:46 PM)pulses Wrote: Who would you take now instead of Dax Hill and so forth? Ebikettie and Jurgens would have been good 1st rounders for us they are having good starts to their careers. The guys I would have wanted at 31 were Kaiir Elam, Tyler Linderbaum, Trent McDuffie, George Karlaftis, or Dax Hill. All those other dudes went before 31 besides Hill. I still would have taken Hill at 31. As some others have said, probably put him at a different position instead of FS though. I would have invested the $$ into keeping Bates knowing how much FS has struggled since he left. I did also like Roger McCreary and Kyler Gordon though, so probably some DB regardless in Rd 1 even if not Hill. I really liked Cam Jurgens, but not as a 1st rounder. I wanted him backing up Karras. Looking at their sacks and pressures allowed this year, Jurgens and Karras are almost identical: Karras - 476 offensive snaps played with 1 sack and 9 total pressures allowed Jurgens - 458 offensive snaps played with 1 sack and 9 total pressures allowed Jurgens has 3 penalties whereas Karras has none. Jurgens's run blocking is better than Karras's, but that might also be offensive scheme. Someone who I didn't think was going to cut it at OT due to lack of length but has found a way in spite of that is Bernhard Raimann. If Hill had been put at CB out of the gate, I would have liked to take Raimann in Rd 2 to hold down either LT or LG. He's been great for IND. I'm a sucker for pass catching TEs, so maybe Cade Otton instead of Carter in Rd 3. Otton would have saved a lot of time and effort trying to get a new TE1 every year for the past few seasons. For Rd 4, Zach Tom instead of Volson. That dude has also been really good at RT for the Packers. Raimann and Tom could have really solidified this OL.
