Tyson v. Paul - bfine32 - 11-15-2024

This Welterweight fight on the undercard was one of the best fights I've seen in some time.

The welterweight bout was a good contest. Hating all the pageantry to stretch out the card.

How many times will they announce Jake Paul versus Tyson prior to an undercard fight? Should be a drinking game...

I am banking on the legend to rise to the occasion and eat Jake Paul's children

These females are letting them fly too

Not sure about everyone else, but Netflix has been crashing left and right. Have had to resort to a streaming website.

It's bound to be a circus, but I'll watch it, and hate myself for doing so LOL

Tyson looks old. Of course he is old, but he looks it

That was my thoughts, just about verbatim, watching him walk out. Looks every bit of those 58 years.

Crashing in the front room, but been solid in the den.

The current fight is a good ripper! I haven't really watched boxing since Iron Mike was biting ears!

Just finished the 3rd. This being a sanctioned bout is an embarrassment.

It's sad.

RE: Tyson v. Paul - CKwi88 - 11-16-2024

What an absolute mockery of the sport calling this a sanctioned bout. An exhibition in every way minus marketing. Clearly had a no KO clause.

Yet, can't fault Mike and Jake for grabbing the bag. Good on Mike for ending on his feet, good on Paul for not legally murdering a 58 year old.

Disappointed all around.

RE: Tyson v. Paul - BFritz21 - 11-18-2024

Tyson got paid to take a dive.

He showed more aggression at the weigh-in than he did the entire fight.

He came out alright in the first and second rounds.

Then you could almost see his body realize "oh shit, I'm 58 years old" halfway through round three and shut down. And then it became a joke as Paul didn't want to hurt his friend. It's more like Tyson got paid to be carried for 8 rounds.
