Did Lou save his job last night?? - pulses - 12-10-2024 Personally I don't think so. RE: Did Lou save his job last night?? - SunsetBengal - 12-10-2024 Doubtful, they "held" a crappy team with a backup QB to "only" 20 points, despite giving up 7.3/carry to Dowdle. RE: Did Lou save his job last night?? - samhain - 12-10-2024 I sure hope not. That was a bad Dallas team with a qb that failed to find more than a few wide open receivers on critical downs. Unfortunately we are going to play some real shitty teams over the next few weeks. It's got the potential to create the kind of illusion that the FO needs to stand pat this offseason. I agree. And I think Dowdle is pretty decent but we made him look like a world beater lol RE: Did Lou save his job last night?? - pulses - 12-10-2024 (12-10-2024, 05:51 PM)samhain Wrote: I sure hope not. RE: Did Lou save his job last night?? - FormerlyBengalRugby - 12-10-2024 Lou held a terrible team to 20 points, and was objectively bailed out by bad special teams play all around. The idea that this game is a crown jewel for Lou is very telling of his overall failure as a DC. RE: Did Lou save his job last night?? - HarleyDog - 12-10-2024 Absolutely not. Erase the score and look at the performance. They looked like shit. And if I have to watch Pratt overact with his drama bullshit anymore, I'm afraid I'm going to drink myself into cirrhosis. Holy cow he is awful. RE: Did Lou save his job last night?? - Truck_1_0_1_ - 12-10-2024 No, I wouldn't say so. I think it's already a foregone conclusion and he's auditioning for future DB coach jobs for next year/the coming years. I would think the Bengals of the 90's made cirrhosis a given! Bourbon, Bengals, and Blunder... RE: Did Lou save his job last night?? - kalibengal - 12-10-2024 hard no, they have yet to beat a playoff caliber team and needed Nick Vigil to comeout of woodwork to save them last night This team needs a a top 10 draft pick that hopefully even Tobin cant screw up and top 10 picks in each rd of next yrs draft. It blew my mind. If I were a Dallas fan I would have been screaming at the TV/OC. Tied game, 6.5 minutes left in the 4th quarter, you run for 14 and then just refuse to run it again. Lol RE: Did Lou save his job last night?? - Destro - 12-10-2024 No, but maybe yes. That does make sense, but it actually does. RE: Did Lou save his job last night?? - J24 - 12-10-2024 No, the bigger question is did Zimmer do enough to impress the Bengals FO last night? Lol Good to at least know that fans of other teams have to deal with bad play calling the same as us some times. He needs to go as well. Bengals are not interested in Zimmer I'm pretty sure. His defenses have been horrible as of late as well. We need a fresh new face to come in and no not any retreads. No he didn't, their D was just as bad... RE: Did Lou save his job last night?? - TheCincinnatiKid - 12-10-2024 No, they 'held' a bad QB to 20 points and let the RB run all over them. Even if he'd held Dallas to 0 points and 0 yards yesterday... the season is dead in the water because they've lost virtually every other game. They've managed to totally nullify an MVP season by the QB. Saving some face in a meaningless game shouldn't be weighted that highly when they were nowhere to be seen in far more important games. On a team predicted by several to be serious contenders for the title. |
