Playing QB on Hard Mode - Nicomo Cosca - 12-30-2024 Pretty eye opening stuff here from Joe Goodberry: What does playing QB on "Hard Mode" look like? RE: Playing QB on Hard Mode - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 12-30-2024 Yeah, honestly these percentages and numbers do not surprise me. Joe is by far the best QB this season with so much on his shoulders. If we don't make the Playoffs I would vote for Saquon for this reason and it would be nice to see another position besides QB get the MVP again, Saquon deserves it if we don't make the Playoffs. But if we do Joe should be MVP. I know he won't win it regardless, but it is pretty remarkable how good Joe Burrow has been with all the shit that goes wrong for him. I know, having the best WR duo in the league helps him, this is the one thing besides Chase Brown coming into his own. The interior OL play has to be by far the worst of any QB that has played well this season. RE: Playing QB on Hard Mode - Destro - 12-30-2024 Not going to quote the whole thing again, but by god Joe Burrow does so much despite all the bad on this team. RE: Playing QB on Hard Mode - TheLeonardLeap - 12-30-2024 Passes per game.. Bengals: 37.9 Ravens: 27.8 Bills: 30.5 Rushes per game.. Bengals: 22.4 Ravens: 32.4 Bills: 28.6 - - - - - - - Almost like they have coaches/coordinators who understand the value in maintaining some offensive variety and balance so they don't just constantly get teed off on in passing attempts. Slowing the pass rush even just a fraction of a step because they can't just pin their ears back and rush is huge. Burrow also has the lowest share among the three of pass attempts coming from while under center and BY FAR the lowest share of the three of pass attempts on play action. Passes with Play Action... Burrow: 9.3% L Jackson: 22.6% Allen: 17.8% "We're going to throw it, we're going to throw it from shotgun, and we're not going to play action..... wait, why does it feel like they're pressuring us more?" Does anyone know where one can find stats on what % of throws are to pass catchers that are either stationary or moving <3mph? That's where Zac lives, 2-3 yards past the LoS to stationary pass catchers. Intended Air Yards Per Attempt Burrow: 7.3 L Jackson: 8.5 Allen: 7.9 SB year Burrow was at 8.1 |
