Daniel Jeremiah's Pre-Senior Bowl Mock - Synric - 01-25-2025 Daniel Jeremiah's mocks are always fun because he is really good at predicting which players go a little higher than people are expecting. A list of a few surprises: #10 G Tyler Booker (Bears) #11 OL Armound Membou (49ers) #14 CB Jahdae Barron (Colts) #27 CB Azareye'h Thomas (Ravens) #32 James Pearce Jr (Chiefs) Bengals select DT Walter Nolen at #17. Quote:Nolen is a dynamic interior disruptor. He would be a key part of a turnaround under new Bengals defensive coordinator Al Golden. https://www.nfl.com/news/daniel-jeremiah-2025-nfl-mock-draft-1-0?campaign=Twitter_nfl_cfb Here's a film review of Nolen by Joe Goodberry. https://youtu.be/eXIBVw_F0oc?si=AagoKw__PZEmkB7f RE: Daniel Jeremiah's Pre-Senior Bowl Mock - Synric - 01-26-2025

RE: Daniel Jeremiah's Pre-Senior Bowl Mock - ochocincos - 01-27-2025 I can't remember who affiliated with or covering the Bengals at the time said it, but this is what was said to prioritize position-wise when it comes to having talent in a 4-3 defense: Tier 1: DE1, CB1, 3T, WLB Tier 2: FS, CB2, DE2 Tier 3: NT, MLB Tier 4: SLB/SCB NT one could argue goes higher if you can find a NT who is enough of a difference maker from the typical NT, but at the time I heard that, the NT (Peko) was being used just a 2-down run stopper and subbed out in nickel. RE: Daniel Jeremiah's Pre-Senior Bowl Mock - Synric - 01-27-2025 Mike Renner just put Walter Nolen at #8 in his new top 50 big board. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/nfl-draft-2025-big-board-rankings-cam-ward-headlines-top-50-prospects-while-shedeur-sanders-lands-at-no-40/ The Climb is on. |
