RE: NFL history now says the Browns have more championships than the Steelers - JS-Steelerfan - 04-02-2025 So what? So, the NFL now recognizes that the Browns have more football championships than the Steelers. Great. Good for them. But that’s always been the case, and it has been so as long as the Browns have existed. All that this changes is that the NFL now acknowledges it in their record books. And here’s something it doesn’t change: The Steelers continue to have more NFL championships than the Browns. They are the undisputed NFL kingpins in each of their championship years, whereas the championship Browns of 1946-49, even if recognized by the NFL, must still defer to the Bears, Cardinals, and Eagles (twice) as the NFL champions of those years. True, but the Dolphins remain the only NFL team to ever accomplish the feat. |
