Man I'm a huge optimist, but damn I couldn't be much more bummed about this pick. Hope I'm wrong about him!

Zac Taylor didn't seem very happy in the war room.

RE: Welcome Shamar Stewart - Storer50 - 04-24-2025

The string of explitives leaving my mouth have sent Quentin tarrentino straight to confession.

RE: Welcome Shamar Stewart - StoneTheCrow - 04-24-2025

Pretty good if you don’t like sacks or tackles.

RE: Welcome Shamar Stewart - Isaac Curtis: The Real #85 - 04-24-2025

That is an F pick.

Literally the dumbest thing we could have realistically done.

RE: Welcome Shamar Stewart - CJD - 04-24-2025

If you don't like drafting defensive ends that can't rush the passer, you don't like Bengals football.

Oh well.

RE: Welcome Shamar Stewart - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 04-24-2025

Have to say, this was the one guy that scared me the most with his lack of production and Shemar Stewart just being extremely talented.

But we have new coaches on the Defense now and a new DL coach in Montgomery, plus I saw Shemar had a very good pressure rate so these
things give me some optimism. If this was still Hobby being the DL coach and Lou as DC this would of disappointed me much more. I also like
that we didn't take a character concern at 17. We will see how this turns out, cannot deny the talent of Shemar Stewart.

RE: Welcome Shamar Stewart - dr tarzan - 04-24-2025

Cedric Ogbuehi 2.0
There is a reason he didn't have great production in college...because he doesn't  produce.
They like his unmeasureables....just like they like Cedric even though he gave up 8 sacks his senior year....and proceeded to pass protect in pros just as effectively as he did in college.

I liked John Ross pick better than this one.

Gonna be sick....

RE: Welcome Shamar Stewart - Dean_Gilberry95 - 04-24-2025

Micah parsons and Darius slay both like the pick over on bleacher report. Even though he didn’t get the sacks they called him the disruptive or pressure king. Had the most pressures in college. I dunno, I can’t be upset . I don’t know any college players.

RE: Welcome Shamar Stewart - tBengal - 04-24-2025

Just so disappointed in the FO that this is the pick. I have a feeling in about 2 years we’ll be talking about drafting his replacement.

RE: Welcome Shamar Stewart - QueenCity - 04-24-2025

Willing to give it a chance... the pressure rate is great.

The production would be nice but there has to be more to the story on each play.

Makes me feel better too. We all wanted production and that is why I was for Mike Green and James Pearce over this guy, but players like Richard
Seymour and Danielle Hunter had worse production in college than Shemar Stewart and were not near as physically talented.

We will see if the new coaches can develop this guy and Murphy so we don't have to ***** like this anymore lol

This is literally the worst I've ever felt after a first round pick in my entire fandom of the Bengals.

A true dead on arrival pick.

RE: Welcome Shamar Stewart - TheFan - 04-24-2025

You can't really have worse production over 3 years of actual play than this guy. To be drafted this high with so much need on the team for immediate impact starters this year.

Nice. LOL

Just wished they took Sanders. Mellow

Might be the first time everyone in JN agrees…

and that’s not a good thing
