Welcome Dylan Fairchild - pally - 04-25-2025 The Bengals recreates the 2023 Georgia OL with 3rd round pick Dylan Fairchild. No sacks allowed in pass pro in 783 snaps Per Zac he will come in and compete for LEFT guard right away RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - HarleyDog - 04-25-2025 I like it. ![]() RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - M.W. - 04-25-2025 Makes sense, position wise I like the whole draft thus far. No sacks allowed in pass pro in 783 snaps Dylan Fairchild did not allow a sack in both his starting years. Georgia also runs a heavier pass to run ratio than most of college football with a pocket passer. RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - NUGDUKWE - 04-25-2025 Finally a pick i like ( probably means he'll be terrible). Still a big hole at RG. I wonder what they do there? Luke Kundra in the 4th or 5th would good. Risner would be good but I'm not holding my breath. RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - NATI BENGALS - 04-25-2025 Love Championship wrestler OL/DL prospects. That 67-0 record is nuts. I'm pumped about this pick. RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - Bengalbug - 04-25-2025 What Kirby Smart said about Georgia OL Dylan Fairchild “Toughness, character, what he stands for as a man. I have a lot of respect for Dylan and the way he’s gone about the approach. He got up in front of the team and told his story. He talked about the years he spent on scout team and how much it mean to him to earn what he’s gotten here and how hard he’s had to work for it. Lot of respect for him. His greatest attribute is probably his toughness or his power.” RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - psychdoctor - 04-25-2025 great pick RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - Bengalbug - 04-25-2025 Dylan Fairchild used a lunchpail to motivate Georgia’s home contest against Tennessee was one of the biggest of the season. The Bulldogs were coming off a home loss to Ole Miss and needed a win to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. So to motivate his teammates, Fairchild brought a beaten up lunchpail into Georgia’s locker room prior to the game. He wanted to instil a blue-collar mentally so his team would outwork Tennessee. That proved to be the case, with the Bulldogs picking up a 31-17 home win over the Volunteers. The win proved massive for Georgia, who went on to make and win the SEC Championship game. Call me nutty but this makes me think they have one of the FA guards in mind for the right side. RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - WhoDeyK - 04-25-2025 Great pick! Much needed protection for Joe and really like the reunion with Mims RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - Bengalbug - 04-25-2025 Matt Miller @nfldraftscout I just can't see the three Georgia IOL in this draft failing at the next level. LG Dylan Fairchild, C Jared Wilson, RG Tate Ratledge. I'm a big fan of all three. All are high-end athletes with productive tape in the SEC. Injuries hit in '24 and affected them, but I'm bullish on all as starters. RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - THE PISTONS - 04-25-2025 Prob about the best you can do at Guard in the 3rd. RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - Synric - 04-25-2025 Dane Brugler's write up about Dylan Fairchild in The Beast. Quote:BACKGROUND: Dylan Fairchild grew up north of Atlanta, with his parents. He played little league football, but wrestling was his best sport growing up — he won several state titles in middle school. Fairchild is also an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He proposed to his fiancée (Elizabeth) in February 2025. RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - THE PISTONS - 04-25-2025 (Yesterday, 11:34 PM)Bengalbug Wrote: Matt Miller He looks very athletic. RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - Bengalbug - 04-25-2025 A local Georgia beat writer, Jordan Hill, projected the ravens to take him in the third. MY PREDICTION Fairchild goes 91st overall (3rd round) to the Baltimore Ravens. I don't think Fairchild will go as high in the draft as Ratledge, but I'm very high on Fairchild's potential. He was incredibly reliable while at Georgia, and I think a smart front office will pounce on him during the second day of the draft. My money is on the Ravens being that smart front office. Baltimore needs help at guard, and I think the decision makers are sharp enough to know that they can wait a few rounds to fill that need. The Ravens' draft may be one full of Dawgs based on my earlier prediction that they would snag Malaki Starks toward the end of the first round. RE: Welcome Dylan Fairchild - Bengalbug - 04-25-2025 New Bengals offensive lineman Dylan Fairchild on blocking for Joe Burrow: "It's an honor. It's an honor. It's something I'm going to live and die by every day. It's the biggest honor of my life." Really liked Dylan Fairchild the most if we missed out on Ratledge and I don't know if the team was just giving Golden his guys with the first two picks and if Ratledge wasn't there, Fairchild should be and we wouldn't lose anything. We all know that Rat and Mims played next to each other at Georgia but it might be a good idea to put some one different than his old teammate right next to Mims to just change things and see how he adapts. We all know an OL will go down in season every year, just the way it goes, have to adjust and adapt fast. Expecting Scherff or Risner added after the draft if we don't add another RG the rest of the Draft. I like Lucas Patrick too and think he is an upgrade over both Volson and Cappa from last year, but he has problems staying healthy. Bottom line is the OL is much better going into this year than last year with this pick and the Patrick signing.
