Pat yourself on the back - bfine32 - 04-29-2025

Who did you like more in the draft process, that most "experts" who went higher than expected?

My 2 are Tyler Booker/ Terrence Furgeson

Tyler was a late first/ early second projection and went 12 to Dallas

Furgeson was carrying a 4th rd grade and went before our 2nd RD pick

RE: Pat yourself on the back - Whatever - 04-30-2025

Loveland was my TE1 and was the first one chosen, cracking the Top 10 with the Bears.

Kenneth Grant was another guy I really liked and often mocked to us at 17. He went 13th.

Tai Felton saw a good deal of love in my mocks on Day 3. He wound up going with the last pick in the 3rd.

My guy Anthony Belton was a consensus 4th rounder & went 2nd. He was the other guy I had tagged for the Bengals in round 3 if they passed on a Guard in round 2.

I'll agree with you on Ferguson, but there were plenty of "experts" that had Booker going to Miami at 13 (so I guess you can claim the one spot, lol).

Either way, there were mixed opinions on Booker, but most that I saw had him in the teens.

I had mentioned I really liked TJ Sanders (DT South Carolina) as a Day 2 pick.
He was projected a 3rd rounder for the longest time and finally started creeping into mid-late 2nd right up to draft time.
He ended up going 41.

I also had Savaiinaea (OL Washington) pegged for 49, and he was projected a mid-late 2nd rounder. Ended up going 37th overall.

Last, Andrew Mukuba (DB Texas) I wanted in Rd 3, he was often projected mid-3rd. Went last pick in 2nd round.

On the other end of the spectrum, I didn't think Xavier Watts would make it to our 2nd Rounder, he wasn't picked until after our 3rd rounder

I thought folks were undervaluing Mitch Evans with a 5th RD grade, but that's where he went

I was thinking they were going to take Watts when he was still there in the second round and then definitely in the third. Pre-draft I figured he might be gone before the Bengals picked in the 2nd round. Thought they would really want him.
Golden obviously wasn’t shouting at Duke to take him so he must know something we don’t - and I hope he is right because S still looks like a very weak position for them.

Bradyn Swinson. I was super high on Swinson as a pass rusher and thought he would go late 2nd early 3rd. He went in the 5th round.

RE: Pat yourself on the back - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 05-01-2025

I was really high on Kenneth Grant like Whatever even if we needed a 3-tech he can still get pressure as a DT and he went before 17.

As Bfine said, on the other hand I was really high on Emmanwori and he fell a lot further than I thought he would.

Was surprised Watts lasted as long as he did and hope Golden is right and he wouldn't of filled our need at FS. Guess Golden thought he
needed his viper LB instead and we needed a Guard more and agree on that one.
