RANK OUR OTs (2025) - bfine32 - 05-23-2025 So far, we’ve rated the following: QB (2-3/ 59%) EDGE (Tie 11-16 & 17-22/ 31%) WR (1-2/ 77%) SAF (25-32/87%) RB (12-18/53%) DT (20-25/50%) Let’s go back to the O and rank our bookends. Where are the Twin Towers AND Cody Ford? As always, the competition: ARZ: PARIS JOHNSON-JONAH WILLIAMS-KELVIN BECHAM ATL: JAKE MATTHEWS-KALEB MCGARY-STORM NORTON BAL: RONNIE STANLEY-ROGER ROSENGARTEN-JOE NOTEBOOM BUF: DION DAWKINS-SPENCER BROWN-TYLAN GRABIE CAR: EKEM EKWONU-ROBERT HUNT-BRADLEY CHRISTENSON CHI: BRAXTON JONES-DARNELL WRIGHT-KIREN AMEGADJIE CLV: DAWAND JONES-JACK CONKLIN-LORENZO THOMPSON DAL: TYLER GUYTON-TERRENCE STEELE-HAKEEM ADANEJI DEN: GARRET BOLLES-MIKE MCGLINCHEY-MATT PEART DET: TAYLOR DECKER-PENEI SEWELL-GIOVANNI MANU GBP: RASHAAD WALKER-ZACH TOM-ANTHONY BELTON HOU: CAM ROBINSON-BLAKE FISHER-AIR ERSERY IND: BERNHARD RAIMANN-BRADEN SMITH-BLAKE FRELAND JAX: WALKER LITTLE-ANTON HARRISON-FRED JOHNSON KCC: JAYLON MOORE-JAYAN TAYLOR-JOSH SIMMONS LVR: KOLTON MILLER-DJ GLAZE-CHARLES GRANT LAC: RASHAWN SLATER-JOE ALT-BRANSON TAYLOR LAR: ALARIC JACKSON-ROB HAVERSTIEN-AJ ACURI MIA: PATRICK PAUL-AUSTIN JACKSON-RYAN HAYES MIN: CHRISTIAN DARRISAW-BRIAN ONELL-WALTER ROUSE NEP: WILL CAMPBELL-MORGAN MOSES-VERDARIAN LOWE NOS: KELVIN BANKS-TAILISE FUAGA-JOSH BALL NYG: ANDREW THOMAS-JERMAIN ELUMINOR-JAMES HUDSON NYJ- OLU FASHENU-ARMOND MEMBOU-CARETER WARREN PHI: JORDAN MAILATA-LANEJONSON-MYLES HINTON PIT: BRODERICK JONES- TROY FAUTAU- DYLAN COOK SFF: TRENT WILLIAMS-COLTON MCKIVITZ-ANDRE DILLARD- SEA: CHARLES CROSS-ABRAHAM LUCAS-JOSH JONES TBB: TRITIN WIRFS-LUKE GOEDEKE-CHARLIE HECK TEN: DAN MOORE-JC LATHAM-OLISE UDOH WAS: LAREMY TUNSIL-JOSH CONERLY-TRENT SCOTT AVAILABLE: TYRON SMITH-JEDRICK WILLS-CHUK OKORAFOR RE: RANK OUR OTs (2025) - ochocincos - 05-23-2025 Optimistically, I'll go 11-17 hoping that Mims grows from last year and the new OL coach is an improvement over Pollack. But last year, I considered the OT group to be just ok when factoring in Ford especially. There was just far less complaining because of the atrocious Guard performance taking the focus away. RE: RANK OUR OTs (2025) - J24 - 05-23-2025 11-17 as of right now but I expect them to be top 10 by end of the season. RE: RANK OUR OTs (2025) - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 05-23-2025 Think they will be top 10 after this season, but right now, yeah 11-17. Orlando played damn good last year and for a rookie Mims was one of the best. But Mims has to show some growth this season to get out of mid pack. I think with better Guard play that will really help. Cannot forget Mims did what he did while playing next to maybe the worst Guard in the NFL last season. My optimism is extremely high for Amarius Mims. I have a hard time finding 10 better than Mims and OBj, with Ford as swing tackles RE: RANK OUR OTs (2025) - sandwedge - 05-24-2025 (05-24-2025, 11:16 AM)bfine32 Wrote: I see 11-17 leading the charge. Honestly think Mims is the real deal and will be one of the best RT. OBj, I have never been a big fan of. Maybe it's the gap in his teeth IDK. Ford earned my respect last year. I cannot believe the number of people that downplays what he did last season. He wasn't perfect but played admirable and even injured. RE: RANK OUR OTs (2025) - jason - 05-24-2025 They're probably middle of the pack in the 16 to 17 range, but I'm predicting a big leap from Mims this year. That'll change that ranking pretty significantly. I don't like OBJ cause he's always wearing that raccoon tail, so the gapped teeth are a legit issue. But when I watch him on the field I see a lineman in a different class than the other 4 on the field. Several teams with rookies in their group and second year guys like mims. I felt tb and Philly are clearly better. Then it became a bit of a pick em. I went with top ten. Agree. ![]() But seriously, Orlando is about the least athletic OL in the league even if he is damn good, he does it with technique and strength. RE: RANK OUR OTs (2025) - Nicomo Cosca - 05-24-2025 Need to see Mims take the next step before I can rank them a top half duo. I expect that he will. RE: RANK OUR OTs (2025) - bfine32 - 05-24-2025 My top 5: DET PHI LAC MIN CIN RE: RANK OUR OTs (2025) - Synric - 05-25-2025 (05-24-2025, 11:16 AM)bfine32 Wrote: I see 11-17 leading the charge. That puts me at 11 with Seattle and Carolina having arguments so 11-17 fits for me. Of course, opinions vary, but what folks miss about our LT is that last year was the first time he ever missed time due to injury, and he still played a few with a broken leg. You have BAL above them, yet Stanley has played a full season once in his 8-year career, and DEN/MIN may be the only 2 that have a better swing tackle in the league. But difference of opinion is what makes the threads interesting. Good points and as you say Cody Ford became a decent backup last year as well. Depth is a big deal. Last year was his rookie year, and going from College playoffs, to the offseason workouts, to training Camp as the slotted backup, he still did well when thrust into the starting role. This year he getsan off-season and reps as the first team RT during TC RE: RANK OUR OTs (2025) - rfaulk34 - 05-25-2025 (05-25-2025, 05:42 PM)bfine32 Wrote: Yeah, I probably went a little high placing them in the Top 5. Even if they're around 10ish, i think the poll was 11-17? That's still good for your bookends. Now they just need to solidify that interior. No doubt, I just looked at the list and struggled to find 10 trios better RE: RANK OUR OTs (2025) - XsandOs - 05-25-2025 I find it interesting that there is no LT on the scale of Munoz, Ogden, Pace, Jones, Thomas, Roaf, Boselli at this moment in NFL. |
