Ok, thank you for the info RE: Which should I use? - Bengalzona - 11-24-2016 I always use the wing toggle. But then again, I'm old school. RE: Which should I use? - Nebuchadnezzar - 11-24-2016 BAM! Which is easiest? BAM! BAM!!! RE: Which should I use? - rfaulk34 - 11-24-2016 (11-24-2016, 03:23 PM)Nebuchadnezzar Wrote: BAM! Smaller hole with the snap and it stays in place as you're bolting stuff up. RE: Which should I use? - jfkbengals - 11-24-2016 (11-23-2016, 09:08 PM)Nebuchadnezzar Wrote: Which should I use? I used to use the wing toggles, but eventually went to this style of drywall anchor (not necessarily this brand): https://www.lowes.com/pd/TOGGLER-SnapSkru-20-Pack-0-31-in-x-1-65-in-Self-Drilling-Clear-Nylon-Medium-Duty-Standard-Drywall-Anchor-with-Screws/3183255 The load rating varies by brand and size. While they do leave a big hole in the drywall if removed, it actually patches better than the hole left by the wing style, in my opinion. The only drawback to using this style is the head of the anchor is rather large, so there is a chance that the item you are hanging may not cover it fully. It's always best to test it behind the item you are hanging to verify it before hand. RE: Which should I use? - Beaker - 11-25-2016 Neither. Use a zipper. |
