Paul Dehner made a good point on the pregame show. Instead of allowing AJ to travel to Houston and then telling he him wouldn't play, they could've told him prior to leaving so that he could've just went home instead.

Obviously, AJ is disappointed about not playing, but it seems the timing of it is what led to even more frustration.

Announcers said the Bengals had to make a bunch of game plan changes because AJ was out, but those first two plays looked like the same old game plan to me.
