So about yesterday's Packers vs Cowboys game. - Brandon00151 - 01-16-2017 Yes this is an anti Marvin post, but there is no way Marvin would of went for it with 35 seconds left. Regardless of the results of the kick Marvin would of had us kneel it down and go into overtime. Regardless if you like him or hate him we all know that is exactly what Marv would have done. Mike McCarthy doesn't have AJ Green and I could see Marvin settling for Overtime even if Green was healthy. RE: So about yesterday's Packers vs Cowboys game. - Bilbo Saggins - 01-16-2017 When I watched the Packers playing with their lead, I kept thinking to myself, "this is not how Marvin would do it." Had that been a Lewis coached team with that lead they would never have been in the situation to go for it, much less gone for the kick to prevent OT. The offense would have run 10 HB blasts between the C and RG in a row and the defense would have played cover 3 for the rest of that game. |
