Bullet points - rfaulk34 - 01-30-2017 Ok, i purchased Office 365 last year, mostly for my Son and his College work. Decided to update our proposal sheet at work, so now i have a need to use Excel for the first time in years. Pounded one out in a couple hours last night (no, not that kind sicko) and then looked at it today and decided i wanted to make some changes. That necessitated me starting from scratch and the second time around was smooth sailing and quick. Which brings me to my problem. I've checked the Google and it's not making sense... I can't friggin figure out how to make bullet points. Anyone...help? Seriously, you wrote the document in Excel is what you are saying, right? Look at your ribbon thingy where there are about 4 million icon prompts and look for the ones that look all artsy fartsy and if you click around long enough you'll find some bullets, and maybe clip art pictures of tanks too. Or, you could just paste the thing into Word and add the bullets in there. RE: Bullet points - Au165 - 01-30-2017 Your first issue is you refer to searching something as "checking the Google". RE: Bullet points - BengalHawk62 - 01-30-2017 What's Excel? what are you excelling at? From the tone of your post, it doesn't sound much like excelling to me. Was gonna say why you writing documents in Excel.. that's what word is for... I dnt see any bullet points in excel.. one can make their own with images like you stated though. I generally Organize data with borders if need be... IF you are typing it all up in 1 cell using alt+enter to get to a new line you can always do an ascii character to do ascii hold down alt and use the numb pad. ALT + 263 would be your standard black dot • ALT + 272 is an ARROW ► ALT + 265 ○ or 257 for the smiley face RE: Bullet points - xxlt - 01-31-2017 (01-31-2017, 02:25 PM)XenoMorph Wrote: Was gonna say why you writing documents in Excel.. that's what word is for... It's actually a proposal template, with graphics, that we use when we give an estimate on a job.
