What would you give to keep our pick yet trade for Atlantas pick
#1
Atlanta said they would listen to trade offers for the 4th pick.

I know we would don't have enough to get him but would you offer our 2021 (2), 2022 (1), & 2023 (1)?

I probably would not either but I would hope our next 2 number 1's will be in the lower part of the order.

If we did I guess I would take Peneii & Chase since we have to have a Tackle.

I actually like the idea of trading back more than trading up.

If we end up with Bateman, Dickerson and Eichenberg I would be pretty happy.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Of course I would and without hesitation.

49ers just gave up a 2021 1st, a 2022 1st and 3rd, and a 2023 first for the 3rd pick.

As I read it, we wouldn't give up our 2021 1st

Yeah, nvm just deleted my post. Still hard no for me though. SF doesn’t have nearly as many holes as us. Their defense is great, and they obviously feel they’re a QB away from being a legit contender again.

I mean, how far away can you be when you were the runner up a year ago and had no real major losses after that loss?

Yes we would not give up our 2021 First.

Would you take Penei and Chase or Chase and Pitts?

That’s what I’m saying. They’re right there. And Brandon Aiyuk looks like a good WR (which they were somewhat missing). It will be interesting to see who they take at 3. Lawrence is obviously 1, and I assume Wilson is 2, so it’s Lance, Fields, or Jones.

I can’t even imagine the meltdowns if we had 2 1st round picks and didn’t take an olineman....

For 2021, it's kind of a wash. We might end up with a tackle and a WR at 1 & 2 anyway, but both of them would be "premium players."

And if everything works out well, the first round picks in 2022 and 23 would be low first round picks, and not "premier players." How often do you have a chance to get a single "premier" player? How often do you get a chance to draft 2 in the same draft?

But they'd never do it.
Today I'm TEAM SEWELL. Tomorrow TEAM PITTS. Maybe TEAM CHASE. I can't decide, and glad I don't have to.

I just can't see it being Jones....3 1s for Jones just seems like crazy talk but maybe they were afraid that Carolina would have taken him originally and loved the kid.

The one option you didn't list.

Penei, Pitts

That's a fact. They'd be silly to do it.

It would take more than what we'd be willing to give, I think.

If they' be willing to take 2 firsts and a 3rd or something like that, I'd do it. Any more and I think we'd be spending way too much.

If they want to go another year with Ryan under center- which is what is implied if they're looking to trade out of 4 and not take a QB- I think they would want help now. I don't see them asking for futures. And I don't know what else we could offer. Maybe Boyd? Logan? Bates?!

I'm afraid we'd just be playing whack-a-mole.

Im not going all in on Taylor and leaving (possible) next coach with nothing for years.
