Agreed on Whitworth.  I think Geno and Green belong in that second group.  I just left them out because I think they can afford to stew for a while behind guys who haven't been given their due for decades.

They both belong in Tier 1, not Tier 3.

Very happy for the guys to finally be recognized for their greatness playing for the Bengals.

I'm fine with it be small classes, just as long as it continues. As most have said, I think Ken and Ken are front of line. Considering they should be at least in the HOF short list, they should be a lock for the Bengals Ring of Honor.

Not sure who finally got this done/approved, but good for them.

Agreed, and there are only so many numbers. The only number I would consider retiring if it were up to me would be Munoz's

Lemar Parrisg deserves to get in before anyone but Ken Anderson.  

Ken Riley was a very good player, but he never held any NFL career records.  Parrish held the career return td record for 20 years until Deion Sanders passed him.  He is still 5th in NFL history.  He also has the highest single season punt return average since the AFL/NFL merger (18.8 in 1974 which is the 8th best mark in league history).

He went to 6 Pro Bowls (as a CB not return man) for the Bengals and 2 more times for the Redskins.  He was First Team All-Pro in 1979 and 2nd team in 1980 (also as CB) for Washington.  He was ProFootballReference's First Team All-Decade CB for the 1970's. (Riley was 2nd team)

Parrish has a Hall-of-Fame resume yet you never even hear his name mentioned as one of the great CBs/Return men.  That is because he got into some trouble with drugs after leaving the NFL and was blackballed.

I'm not arguing that Parrish was a good player, he certainly was but I'm confused on how he held the return TD record?

3 Fumbles returned for TDs
1 Kick off return for TD

I am voting for Chad & Ken Riley.

The 2 QBs not only lost their big chances, but I always viewed Boomer as a whiney crybaby and Ken Anderson went to the enemy and helped coach the Rapist. Not saying they shouldn't get in... eventually. Just saying that those two can wait it out and sweat a little.

At least Nelson was a great Teams player and was decent in pass D (horrid in Run D, way too small) AND he had that great diving pick against... Detroit, I think it was, in '09.

The other two didn't even see a snap in the regular season.

You are exactly right. The only thing about putting some in each year, they will have the opportunity to honor them at the stadium during a half time. I think with as long as it's been...they need to make a big deal out of it. Let's heal some wounds.

Kudos to Elizabeth Blackburn for getting this done. Munoz and Paul Brown are no brainers. To me, the next two need to be Ken Anderson and Ken Riley considering how much the team has pumped them up for the HOF recently.

Don't know how holding the career NFL record for 20 years is not "impressive".

At first I was going to argue that Ken Anderson is such an obvious pick that he should be automatic like Brown and Munoz. But even though Anderson is one of the greatest Bengals of all time he is still not like Munoz who was one of the greatest of all time for the entire league.

So while everyone knows Anderson should get in the first year it is still proper to give a higher honor to Munoz.

Anderson should 100% be in the NFL Hall-of-Fame already, but the fact that we have to argue for his induction proves that Munoz was on a different level.
