Clemson is not short on 5star players they could have put in to replace him, so he definitely wasn’t as bad as some act like. I think at times he got lackadaisical like other guys on that team but he has a lot of talent, and he definitely has more upside inside at guard in the short run. Yeah, he's not some slug. Idk whether he sets up at LG or RG, but I like having a massive guard that can move on the right side. He has to be an upgrade over Jordan or Redmond, and hopefully a major one.

Carman was huge (340 lbs) and slimmed down for the NFL. Technique is his downfall. Guess that's where Pollack comes in. Hmmmmm.... I can't remember any good Oline from Clemson. Maybe they suck at developing Oline and Pollack has clay to mold. So.... is he an insta-starter?

You can always trust an dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to look out for.

I havent heard any team or analyst have Carmen rated higher than a 3rd round pick. Not a bad choice but its like the Sample pick. We traded our way out of getting Jenkins to reach big time. SMH....

Carman: Could struggle with edge speed and inside counters at tackle.
Had weight management and accountability issues early in his career. Is he the slow, lazy type? oh my...

I think he can start eventually but I dont think he'll start this year. He isn't a pass blocking OT, that is all. At least not yet. He is made for Guard and just what we need. Our interior O-line has been shit and Pollack evidently thought he was the most versatile of the ones available and I agree. Great run blocker who can bounce out to OT if we need him to.
