Hate to say it, but Bengals looking like a 4th place team in the AFC North again. The o line still sucks. The defensive front 7 is weak. Not a hot take, it’s gonna be hard to win more than 5-6 games playing in this division

Mike Brown’s Owner/GM record: 32 years 223-303-4 .419 winning pct.
Playoff Record: 5-9, .357 winning pct.
Zac Taylor coaching record, reg. season: 37-44-1. .455 winning pct.
Playoff Record: 5-2, .714 winning pct.

Hopefully having some healthy DT's will help and some decent play calling on D.
Cause yeah, I also liked Ben Cleveland. Damn Ratbirds.
I think the main reason why I didn't talk about him much was his name.

I think we’ll be better than Pittsburgh. Ben looked awful down the stretch.

You mean with this coaching we have seen the last few years. They are young though. Bet we win more then 6 games, still isn't
enough, need to win twice that for the HC and company to stick around. At least the team is sitting pretty good for a good new HC.

Agreed that we will be 4th but Offensive Line won't suck this year. Carmen and Rieff will be good players for us.

Honestly 9 or 10 wins will do it. Shit 8 wins might do it, but only because he was so damn awful mediocrity will be rewarded.

James Hudson (as I mentioned on previous page ) would be a great pick. Alaric Jackson is another. Some like Stone Forsythe , although I would think he’s in a tier below the aforementioned two. I think people are sleeping on Hudson though. Needs development, but he has huge upside for this late in the draft.

DL * 2 1
Joker * 2 (one of these would probably be another OL, but not necessarily)

Enjoy the draft, y'all. Let's hope we come out of it with some studs.
^ Just updating my targets here. Guys still on the board in green. Paying especially close attention to Gainwell, Jefferson, Powell, Fehoko, Coxie, D'Ante Smith, David Moore, Hutcherson, Barnes, Shakur Brown and Hufanga. If we land one of them I'll be happy, two I'll be thrilled. Here's hopin'.

I don't think we were gonna do anything substantial this year regardless of the draft. But we have 3 4th rd picks coming and I hope we go oline with the 1st and then the other 2 there's still talent at DE that we can get a rotational developmental player and maybe a TE or safety.

Well we got the best WR to come out in a while, a very promising OG and a pass rusher who is a beast with a high ceiling plus 2 more 4th round picks. I cant grade drafts, but it could be much worse.

I'd like to see Jabril Cox in the 4th also with another lineman.

It’s be nice to beat Shittsburgh in 2021. The o-line and d-line still seem pretty weak. I want to see improvement, but it’s hard to see more than 5-7 wins.

Sorry to quote myself , but I’ll add D’ante Smith as well. Still surprised at the seemingly lack of buzz on Hudson for the next pick.
Edit to add *Trey Smith (thought he had been taken for some reason)
* Royce Newman (could play guard/tackle)

Jabril is a great coverage LB, fast, I like him, but we have a whole bunch of coverage LBs. Need more run stopping and tackling imo.

Thank you for posting this. With 3 picks in the 4th we are bound to end up with a couple or three of these guys. Its funny because I've thought for some reason that Stone Forsythe might be a guy we target in later rounds even though I never picked him in a mock simulator.
I would be happy with Trey Smith, Deonte Brown, most of those DT's, Cox might not be a bad pickup since Bynes is gone. Cade Johnson is a playmaker and it would be hard to not like getting him. He could replace Erickson and be an upgrade imo.

Royce Newman is a guy i've had my eye on in the 4th.

7-10 would be a step forward. Problem is the FO does not seem to value the lines. The Bengals current starter and reserve groupings on the lines are meh at best. Burrow only has 4 years until his contract starts becoming a drain on the cap. Aggressive moves this offseason/draft are warranted. Instead we have the standard lukewarm approach.
