What are you listening to? v2.0
I've known of these guys for years but never really knew how really good they were until these 2015 Suhr live performances. If you are a Chris Cornell fan this guy gets about as close as you can get to his style. He actually has more control of his voice. Dude is an awesome guitarist too! If you don't care for this song check out some of the others. That Song & The Oaf were the ones that I gravitated to back when I first heard them. More hook oriented songs.

This thread ROCKS!!! Missed it, WTF?!!!

Been listening to Greta Van Fleet a bit lately and watching their vids. They Rock like a lot of bands in the 70's not just LZ.

They have a little Uriah Heap to them and many other bands I can't quite figure out at this moment.

They are funny wearing the old 70's funky unitards but man they do ROCK! Rock On

Anyone into Jinger or Slaughter to Prevail around these parts?

Definitely some easy Sunday morning vibes from these bands.

Deceitful, two-faced she-woman. Never trust a female, Delmar, remember that one simple precept and your time with me will not have been ill spent.

Not those bands in particular but I’m a huge metalhead! Right now I’m checking out another Richmond, VA band called Enforced, they’re a healthy mix of Slayer, LoG, and old Sepultura. Liquid Metal on Sirius XM put me onto em and I’m liking what I hear so far. Quality thrash! [emoji869]
You wanna hear an absolute banger check out Mors Principium Est “Lost In a Starless Aeon”.

Amon Amarth  is one of my favorites.    dont know of any local bands

But if you are an Arnold Movie fan... Austrian Death Machine is worth checking out

I’ve seen AA multiple times, they’re one of my favorites! Their tours have put me on to bands like Sabaton and SkeletonWitch. I’ve seen Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Enslaved, Slayer, Lamb of God, Testament, Behemoth, Deicide, Arch Enemy, and a bunch of other smaller lesser known metal bands. I have to wait until next year to knock Judas Priest off my bucket list (Traitor’s Gate is such an incredible song, if you haven’t heard it I highly recommend you do so!) as their tour has been canceled due to COVID.

I enjoy Slaughter to Prevail. In the same vein, I’ve been crushing the new Lorna Shore EP. what are your thoughts?

Driving the kids to school one day last week one of the kids was worried about her sweater getting ripped. So I started singing The Sweater Song by Weezer and then turned it on. Since then, my 5-year old son has played Weezer relentlessly in the house. And the car. And anywhere else. So I've been listening to more Weezer in the past 10 days than I probably heard all of high school and college combined. Their production is impeccable and I've come to appreciate their music in a different way, but wow, it's been a lot of Weezer.

I thought that was Alex Lifeson channeling his best Peart at first!

Been re-visiting Electric Ladyland lately.

Amazon music threw SRV's cover of Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) into my ear while I was mowing the lawn last week. It had been awhile since I heard it, and was absolutely amazed (as always) by it. That made me yearn for the original, but I decided to play the album instead of just the one tune. Such an amazing album...
