Pretty much the trifecta of shit.

1. He's hurt, so he's not helping the Reds win.
2. He's hurt, so the Reds likely can't trade him at the deadline if they keep losing.
3. He'll still probably opt out of his contract in the offseason and leave Cincinnati.

So the Reds will probably end up not getting playoffs, not getting trade value, AND watch him leave while getting nothing in return.
