They will continue saying ,"Well look at Jerry Rice.."  Because we all know that 1 receiver that got over the yipps and became a hall of fame receiver means Chase will too.  Despite the fact there have been many more highly drafted receivers that failed.   That said I do certainly hope Chase can get it together.   If not it will be a major setback yet again for the Bengals.

Johnson with a drive killing penalty. From 3rd and 3 to 3rd and 8 is a big difference. Second flag on him, not a good showing so far.

He got 2 or 3 carries early on. Not a good sample size so I guess he is penciled in already. I like both Evans and Patrick a lot so far though.

You would've thought the guy never played big boy football the way he's being coddled right now.

Do I want Zac to keep our starting players who have proven something...  anything... out there deep into Pre-season games?

Hell no.

Chase hasn't done a damn thing to make me feel like he's "good to go".

Phillips has not been great I agree, but that play you mention was #29 Antonio Phillips.

Last week I could say meh 1 more preseason game for Chase to work through but now he has 4 drops in a row over 4 games. It's a poor coaching decision to pull him let him stew over those drops for 2 more weeks and force him to work though it when the games matter.

I really like the new design offense the Bengals have shown this pre-season but I feel Taylor is coaching scared with his players.
