Watch him make the team and they cut McPherson
Last time there was a kicker competition and the young draftee lost, a certain member of these boards quit. That was the last straw for a few people if I recall correctly…

I actually think we'll keep both unless someone offers us something in trade...Maybe a WR that can catch

How is this announcer not privy to the accusations against Deshaun Watson?

I think he will be kept as an emergency kicker again to leverage the COVID protocols.

So, is ZT really thinking that Chase will get over the dropsies in week 1? I think it's pretty clear by this point that doing well in practice isn't enough to get him over this hump.

Ouch Henderson had to excellent plays but then just had a very bad run blitz and gave up a huge gain.

I dont want to see anyone post twitter updates that have Jamarr Chase making spectacular catches in practice. It means nothing.

Jake Elliot turned out to be less than great. Last year his FG% was 73.7 percent. He made one huge kick his rookie season with the Eagles and people started freaking out here about how we cut the wrong guy.

The Bengals have got to be the worst tackling team in the league these past 5 years. Just have to be

I am tempted to predict there will be a Chase fumble in Game 1 vs Vikings going back for a TD costing us the game. Just 'cause Chase & Bengals.

It does make you wonder if that o-line guy for the Lions is looking good in practice.

Why can’t we get a backup qb this good? Allen isn’t bad, but our next two qbs…

Oh I didn’t. I thought they made the right choice actually. Bullock was clearly the better kicker at the time. Some people just couldn’t deal with that reality

In all fairness, since the second month of the 2016 we've been actively rooting for losses so we can get better draft picks so a less accurate kicker would have been welcome here.
