***Week 2 GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Bears***
Like others have said already, enough of the damn 5 wr sets. Leave Mixon back to block. I'm not even going to get started on the refs bs calling until we can learn not to beat ourselves. Then we can talk about bad officiating.

And I wish you rooted for a different team. You’ve threatened it enough times, that’s for sure.

Yeah, because no NFL team hides injuries :)

I think it’s time to sign a veteran quarterback as a backup just in case...

If we’re doing this quick pass throw immediately stuff, Burrow needs to target Boyd

He’s the best receiver for that style of play

No shit it gets old as hell reading ignorant comments.

Sometimes putting in your back up QB should lit up the starting QB, considering how I keep hearing and I believe Burrow is a fiercely competitive player. Heck, the Bears dont mind putting Fields in , in his 1st and 2nd game of the NFL and he isn't throwing INTs. Try anything!

Did Joseph Mixon learn how to block from Gio, though?

There were reasons Mixon didn't play all downs.

True, that was terrible as well. But today he hasn't looked past his 1st receiver once. Literally gets the ball, plants, and tosses it. Regardless if they're open or before going through any progressions. He missed a possible touchdown on one that was called out by everyone including the announcers, missed Mixon on the bail out taunting call, and I'm sure he's missed other big plays today.

Oh, and strike the 5 wide from the playbook. I don't care if Burrow likes it it does not work in the NFL. Go back to 2 TE, mass protect if you need to and go deeper.

I heard on Sirius this past week that Burrow has the longest active streak of passing for at least 200 yards and 0 INTs. Needs another 129 this half to keep that active,

I agree. I fully expected to see us targeting the slot/Boyd a helluva lot more in this game.

Just torture...Hoping they win but struggling vs a terrible Bears team is concerning

Somewhat, but not really. They do readdress how they are going to adjust to what they are facing. Bears are not playing like they did last week and neither are the Bengals.

The term you’re trying to use is max protect, not mass protect.

He was limping 2nd half last week after a hit and hasn't been the same since... it's worrisome for sure at this point..

It’s always the same people telling other critical fans that they should “root for a different team”

Come up with something new, hacks
