Higgins and Bates Practicing
#1
Tee Higgins and Jessie Bates are both practicing today

Joe Mixon is not but that was to be expected today

From what I understand Higgins is still iffy.

Off Topic but the new Enquirer reporter Kelsey Conway is 100x better than Tyler Dragon.

Bates being back is huge - I was worried after they signed a safety to the PS even after getting Ricardo back.

So all of our major "outs" are back practicing. Good.

Helps that she's a native, who is a huge football fan.

Not a Californian that is a track guy.

I think Bates is a critical piece for the defense.

Higgins injury worries me a bit. Not sure I want to count on ZT developing schemes for TE even though Uzi had a great game and an Offense using TEs would be great. Higgins and Chase on the field same time creates more deep pass opportunities.

Sounds like it, but I may have missed an update on Mixon. That would be my only concern. We suddenly feel vulnerable at RB with no GIO to lean on for a game or two.

LeFleur said it was most likely that Jaire Alexander would be out on Sunday.  They signed a corner, Rasul Douglas off the Cardinals practice squad

Their starting center and left tackle are both not practicing today.

How about Preston Smith? He left early vs the Steelers with a shoulder. The Packers are already short on the edge with Za'Darius Smith on IR.

This is an excellent point — and you make lots of them — because Green Bay CAN be gashed on the ground if the run blocking is good. This means, given good line play, it’s going to be up to Samaje Perine and Chris Evans. I picture lots of jumbo packages on Sunday which gives Joe Burrow the option to hand off or go play action. Green Bay is excellent at sniffing out and blowing up screens; Pittsburgh tried that a lot and got stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey.
