***Week 8 GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Jets***
How did Hendrickson look so good all year against pretty good O lines and today he can’t beat back ups on a team that will be picking in the top 8 of the draft?

i wouldve switched up when this kid was 22/26.

These hard headed ass coaches would rather lose or barely win with their gameplan, than win by deviating from their gameplan. Ego

Game will be tied soon. It's like this team was bribed to not beat the spread.

Burrow needs 38, we need to start going for it on reasonable 4th downs.

Is this the same defense that shut down possibly the best all around QB in the league last week??? The same defense that is getting eaten alive by a scout team QB?

As soon as they don't play their gaps, the running game starts working. This has been studied thoroughly already, run game effectiveness has no relationship to play-action success. Play-action just works.

That is correct.  But effective runs force the DC to call plays that lean towards a run responsibility.  That is why it makes PA work.  If you can't against a line, the DC is going to play the pass all day and let the line take care of the run.  If you can run effectively, the entire secondary will have responsibilities in the run game, which is what causes the hesitation needed for a receiver to get the separation.

Watch White wind up being the next Favre, Brady or Romo.

From surprise start to stardom.
