My behavior in the game thread last week was unacceptable. It was the equivalent of getting consecutive unsportsmanlike conduct penalties and being escorted to the locker room. I apologize and promise to post better.
I served a week in the hole - medicine I deserved to take.
And PhilHos - thou art loosed; please disregard our bet. If anyone needs to sit out, it’s me.

Apology not accepted, it was a true gentleman's bet under my witness, PhilHos will not be posting in GameDay thread. I will add, if we win, he shall not post in GameDay thread again until a loss.

I missed all the fuss, but it's big time character to publicly admit a mistake and apologize. Good on ya man....

Agreed... I don't know what happened either, but Kijana has never seemed like a line stepper to me. We all have our moments though. I'm glad he's back so I can always think his last sentence is an update on his cash situation.

Gee, on the old board if you so much as burped or farted in the wrong direction you had to create a new identity.. Here? Just apologize and the world is all better.. A much better system.. I've never understood why some people will absolutely refuse to admit to mistakes even when everyone and their aunt Betty knows differently.. False pride I guess is what it's called. Anyway, you'll be OK RKR.. We all get squirelly once in awhile.

I have no idea what happened last week, but I respect anyone who reflects on their behavior, feels the need to apologize and does it.
We are all fans and we all get out of line normally due to frustration and our passion for our beloved Bengals to win games and keep getting better.
2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

Appreciated the sentiment, but I'm a man of my word. I won't be there today.

That's fair, but I believe the blame may lie elsewhere.

I was posting in the gameday thread and I don't even remember what happened. Every week it seems two posters get into a dustup of little consequence over some damn trivial thing and the rest of us try and sidestep it like doggie doo on the sidewalk.
Regardless of what happens between the white lines today, for those who will be in the gameday thread, let's all try and enjoy the game and one another's observations without there being a fracas over some perceived slight.

It really is. But, like most things in life, it does have its moments.

It got pretty ugly as the game ended and right after. I saw a new post on there and was like, ban incoming in 5,4,3,2….then refreshed the thread and the ban was handed down.
Nice to see he took his ban like a man and didn’t come back Butt hurt looking for vengeance like we’ve seen before once or twice from old members coming off bans lol
Glad everyone is friends again. Let’s get a big win vs Cleveland and all will be well in the GD thread!

You're missing out, lol. It's a different type of joy....kind of. I think it'd be funny to do a zoom call when we're watching the game.

We need differing opinions in the GD thread, that's what makes it fun. We need the doom and gloomers after a 3 and out and those slapping them silly.

Is GD game day or goddamned? Or the same?
