I'm flying out there on Friday night and flying back on Monday morning.
I've mentioned it before but I'm not going to the actual game but I'll be in the sportsbook a lot.
I'm thinking of not betting our game just because I want to have fun watching it, but are there any bets for the game that you WOULD make?
What about bets on the rest of the season?!
Any bets about next season?
Any bets about any other games on Saturday or Sunday?!
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I'll be there in a couple of weeks. Have a good time. I bet cheap slots, maybe a few table games, and generally stay away from game betting. So, no advice here, but enjoy.

I've never been in a sportsbook but figure now's as good a time as any since we're playing out there.
I play hold 'em at the casino in Cinci (although I haven't been since Covid) but generally only Blackjack and things like that out in Vegas.
Friend just text me and said maybe look for tickets to the game if they're not outrageous because the stadium looks so amazing but I almost think I'd just rather stay in a sportsbook because it's so hot and it's Vegas, so I really don't want to sit in a stadium for over three hours.

It's actually pretty nice in Vegas this time of year (forecast this week is 70's during the day and 40's at night) plus the stadium is indoor and climate controlled.

Helps me be ok with maybe going but still don't know if I want to be at a sporting event for over three hours when we'll only be out there for a little over two days.
How are drink prices in the stadium? Any clue?

Pretend you're hitch hiking and underage with about 12 cents in your pocket.. Drop a nickle in a slot machine and see if you win $40 like I did.. best 40 bucks of my entire life..

I've never been to the stadium so no clue on prices. I have been to Vegas many times and from my experience 3 days is just about right. After that I've done most all I want to, I get burned out and am ready to go home. So even if you are only there for a bit over 2 days, a three hour break from the strip might actually be welcome. If I were there during an NFL game I'd probably try to get tickets for that reason and to also check out the new stadium.

Yeah, I've been out there 4(?) times and usually only go for two days, which isn't that bad flying from here since you get out there and haven't lost much time with the time change.
A three hour break might not be bad but then what about the crowds getting out and traffic?
Who knows...... I guess we'll just play it by ear.

Well for this week I like two home teams and one away team .. give me the Chargers giving up 5 to Steelers, Ben and JT Watts are ? and regardless will not be full form. Steelers are not as good on the road away . Other game I just think Tenn has the ball running even without Henry, and Texans are looking bad.. will take Tenn at home -10.5, they have covered 70% of the time this year... Finally i like Baltimore giving up 6 pts at Chicago.. rarely does Jackson lose two games in a row and just think they are going to be ready to go and Ravens will give Fields trouble

I would agree with this. If you are only gambling, the extra day probably isn't needed. You have to take some breaks of which there is plenty other to do. The only reason that extra day would be meaningful is if you spent a day at Hoover Damn or the Grand Canyon included with the trip.

My two other friends that I'm going with are bringing their wives, so I'll need to get away from them some!

I've been doing pretty well. Still not presenting to schools as much as I like because of everything with Covid still going on.
I've gotten serious with making my Handicalenndar, which is my swimsuit calendar of people with disabilities and missing limbs, so I'm hoping we can get that out by the end of the month at the latest.
Just living happily otherwise.
How have you been?

Happy to hear your doing well my friend. I’m doing good here. I’m hoping for one last SB run before Rodgers leaves us.

It's sad with what's happening to his image.
I don't know enough about it to make a decision on any of it, but it's a shame and I feel like it's tarnishing his legacy.
I do hope you can get one more out of him but hopefully you'll be playing us and we win our first!

How much are you willing to “pay” to see the bengals win? Bet whatever that amount is on the Raiders.
