Don't look now, but.....

Broncos up 14-7 on the chiefs middle of the 2nd quarter.  We might have to play our starters if they lose. We have a real shot at the #2 and possible #1 seed...

I still think KC pulls this one out, but if not, the game tomorrow becomes big again. Even then, I would bet heavily on TEN over HOU.

Houston already beat Tennessee this year...

2 seed or 1 seed gets us TWO home games potentially.... half way tempting to play Burrow if that's the case.

But lots of people don't believe home field advantage matters anymore

Either away, if the chiefs lose that's 2 home games guaranteed with a Bengals win tomorrow..

I bet if the Chiefs lose, you see Burrow tomorrow...

I feel you though, seeing a scenario unfold where home field advantage can happen is fun to think about happening. I posted it somewhere, but I'm trusting the coaches for who they do and who they do not play Sunday. I'm not going to react and instead just wait for playoff football.

All this crap confuses me lol

So - if the Chiefs lose and we win tomorrow - we are automatically the #2 seed?

14-10..  Boy, if the Broncos don't drop 2 easy ints, this game is at least a 2 score game in favor of the Broncos right now. Mahomes playing like garbage a d the KC defense is coming apart...

Sure. I still think it’s very unlikely. Not impossible, but don’t count on it.

The Jets beat the Bengals this year. They could play another 10 times and not another win.

After a week of hearing the Chiefs fans complain about the Refs the Chiefs get the weakest looking Roughing the Passer call.

Nah. If NE wins and BUF loses, NE will win that division. They’d take the tiebreaker over the Bengals and jump them in seeding.

Huh? Which tie breaker? We didn't play them this year so is it conference?

Buffalo is not losing to the Jets.

I agree. Just like Tennessee isn’t losing to Houston. It was just asked if we would automatically be the #2 seed, which they wouldn’t. Other things would need to happen.

I just looked at the stats and we are tied already. We are both tied at 8-3 in the conference. So if we win tomorrow then it would come to the following:

Two Clubs

  1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
  4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
  5. Strength of victory in all games.
  6. Strength of schedule in all games
  7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed in all games.
  8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed in all games.
  9. Best net points in common games.
  10. Best net points in all games.
  11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
  12. Coin toss
