Tannehill is better than Ben, no doubt.

Tannehill won't beat you, though. He can't elevate this team and put them on his shoulders. He is more of a game manager.

That's kind of my point with the post. This TN team reminds me A LOT of the 49ers and Jimmy G.

Those numbers line up with having a healthy A.J. Brown, a healthy Julio Jones and a healthy offensive line. Now they also get a healthy Derrick Henry.

It can not be stressed enough how many guys this team lost this year at various times yet they still got the #1 seed. They are a good football team. Burrow is certainly the better QB, but Tannehill is not a Mayfield/Old Ben scrub.

You are correct. I was just looking at his 2019 - 2020 stats and he was actually really good.

I still don't think he's the kind of guy that can completely shoulder the team to a win, but he's solid when he has good help around him.

Of all the QB's in this years playoffs...only Ben had a lower adjusted yards per attempt number than Tannehill, who had a 6.6. In head to head matchups so far, here's how they've played out with the QB's season ay/a numbers for each.

Burrow (9.0) beat Carr (7.4)
Stafford (8.2) beat Murray (7.9)
Garoppolo (8.3) beat Prescott (8.0)
Mahomes (7.6) beat Roethlisberger (6.2)
Brady (7.8) beat Hurts (7.1)
Allen (6.9) beat Jones (7.0)

Only Josh Allen bucked the trend, but Mac Jones is also a rookie.

Dude was a receiver for awhile at A&M, right?

Henry is the best in the league, but even without him, their running game is still stout.
