Gameday Traditions

What do you guys do on game days? I always find it interesting to see what people do. Where do you watch the games? What do you usually drink/eat? What are you wearing?

Home games - When I do go to the game (50% of them), we usually meet up at my in laws and take a party bus down to lot 1 to tailgate. We usually do bacon/egg and cheese sandwiches on the grill. Mich Ultra in the cup. Always. The other 50% of the games and away games I'm usually relaxing at my house in the living room. I like to focus on the game and not go to a bar to watch. Might order wings or some other kind of food or might have something on the smoker (wings/smoked queso) I usually dont drink during those games.

Always wearing my Munoz throwback.

What have you?

Always drinking Rolling Rock if I can get them, love my brewskies.CheersDrunkPervertClapping

I make nachos, cheeseburgers, hot wings etc.

I do my own cooking except when I get a pizza or a burger.

BTW I used to wear my Chad jersey back in the Marv days until it seemed like we always lost when I wore it.

After we beat the Raiders in the Playoffs I went back to wearing it as I thought anything after the first Playoff win in 30
something years was gravy. I wore the Chad jersey again and we won 2 more games against the Titans and Chiefs and
got to the SuperBowl so any jinx I thought it had is gone lol

I typically watch it in the den downstairs by myself. I've got an old orange "Bengals Football" t-shirt I wore last year, so guess I'll be dusting it off again this year. Sometimes I'll cook a little something, sometimes I just eat leftovers or order something. I usually have to be at work too early on Monday to do any kind of drinking.

Reading the other responses. Good stuff. Also since I am nowhere near Cincy I buy Gamepass from NFL.com and
watch all the Bengal games on my big screen computer after the games are over so I can see every snap. I also do
chili dogs or chili burgers from time to time just to try and get the Cincy chili vibe even if it is nothing like your guy's
chili which sounds more like a pasta soup with cheese. Still going to order some Cincy chili and give it a go.

Pretty spendy though from what I have been looking at and would rather order some while the season is going on.

Man, that is rough Wyche, I don't watch football without drinking brewskies...

Live games....Not much for tailgating because I usually stay with an old high school friend in Mason.  I prefer having a big breakfast and hanging out with him Sunday mornings.  I always wear a black Rudi Johnson jersey to the stadium.

At home it is much more complicated.

-24 hours before kickoff there is lots of fasting, chanting and meditation in a sweat lodge.
-Sunday morning I bless and slaughter a chicken; consult with the local haruspex; and then call my bookie.
-1 hr before game time I do 100 naked situps and then get dressed for the game.

-At kickoff I mix up a pitcher of "victory punch"** and settle in to watch the game.

-At halftime I watch porn and smoke an entire pack of filterless Camels.

** recipe for "victory punch"
8 oz. Robitussin DM (raspberry, not that honey or mints shit)
16 oz. Tvarscki Vodka
8 oz. espresso
2 oz. Diet Coke

Jealous that some of you can easily go to the home games. Out in CA games come on usually at 10am so not much prep time. That will be different this year with all the prime time games. We had a few people and food and decorations and all that for the SB. Usually I wear whatever clean Bengals T I have (this year it’s going to be my Chase SB jersey), eat breakfast and watch the game in myBengals room/cave upstairs and make 100s of irrational comments in the GD thread (yeah I’m one of those guys).

Had season tickets for 30 years until last season.

But discovered my pregame ritual is the same whether I'm going to game or watching on TV,

Smoke Weed.

Then that person should try an Indica. They tend to feature less paranoia.

Remember . . .

Sativa = Sativ-UP . . . great for lawn mowing, wood projects, active things. It may take longer, but it will be awesome when you're done.
Indica = In Da Couch . . . vegetation, video games, Netflix. "Let the coolness get into our . . . vertebrae".

But that recipe doesn't work for everybody. Some people are just paranoid on both and hybrids.

My parents moved to Alaska from Cincinnati in 1976 because weed was decriminalized. I didn't know I was an addict until I moved out.*
