I wanna say my parents are silent generation? I'm fuzzy on generational dates - anyways, they did a good job raising me to where when I see memes like this one or the cursive writing and stick shifts I have to laugh at the boomer ass mentality about it; like the ***** just don't realize all millennials aren't some untaught entitled avocado eating victim. Most of us are way more well rounded than them old turds are. And we're not obsessed with the idea of scorching the world around us in spite of our descendants.

You mean yet because obsessing over the idea is a time honored tradition, handed down from generation to generation since the beginning of time. You don’t think so now, but you will later. Every generation before the last had it more difficult than the other which we can thank science, technology and growth.

I mean I work for an environmental company, so I'm actively trying to prevent a scorched earth. I imagine I'll continue to do so until such a time comes they stop paying me for some reason.

And that’s the key. Rather it be ass beatings, grounds and working, something was being done to correct the behaviors. But I think I always got an ass beating and then grounded. I don’t know, maybe my parents thought it was a package deal.
