Someone ALWAYS is assigned to take a free rusher on non-empty backfield pass plays specifically because of the possibility of overloads from blitzing - like the Giants did. Whoever was assigned missed the defender - and we don't know who was assigned.

That was funny. They had Daniel Jones highlights and on the very first one you see our DT being obviously held right in the center of the picture.

There's no other way to describe it... Brandon Allen is ZT's Rudy Giuliani. I don't underetand why he's around other than the fact that he's been around. And no good is coming of it whatsoever.

The RB was lined up to the right of Allen, so it's not on him.  The free runner came on a stunt.  The LT picked it up correctly, but it looked like Volson never even saw his guy until he was past him.  He was literally staring down field looking for a delayed blitzer.  The free runner blew past his outside shoulder, so that's either the LT or the LG's assignment.  The LT correctly picked up the guy that looped outside.  If he doesn't, then that guy comes free.  

Again, he's looked decent.  But that was a very bad rep.

The guy he replaced is basically god around here.

It’s taken the fans a while to warm to him but it’s getting there.

As for tonight positives:
Dax is so quick we’ve got a star
Volson the missed pick up aside has looked 10x better than Carmen
Evans is rb2
The defence looked great against most of their starters.

Negatives:
The bag carrier Allen he’s must do Joe’s laundry or something to stay in his position.
The amount of penalties we are giving away from the least penalised team in the league to surely the most in preseason this year?
