a TD only ties it...they have to make the xtra point.  Now just a TD can finish it.

On the bright side...at least they can't lose with a walk off field goal again

In the case of the Saints scoring a TD, but missing the XP. A 5-point lead is 'meaningless' but a 6-point lead at least means they'd need the XP.

Camera guy has been terrible all game.  Was out too late on Bourbon Street last night.

If this lead holds, the Game Ball post I often avoid has a winner this week. CHASE took over this game and WON IT.

That was a dumb decision by ZT.

Should have kicked the PAT. That way a FG late is a winner instead of a tie (or forces them to get a 2 pt for it not to be).

Being up by 6 is much more advantageous than being up by 5, and if you miss it, there isn’t really a difference between being up by 4 or being up by 5.

Going up 6 so they miss an XP might keep it tied

with a 2-point conversion, there's always a chance if the Saints score a TD that they miss the X-point. Cue the Bengals against the Steelers.

They have 2 min and 3 TO. They have pretty much the whole playbook

I hope you are right but doubt it.
Games not over yet and they should be smoking this Saints team of back ups. They need to get it together because the end of the season is brutal. Right now they are nowhere near ready to play with teams like the Bills and Chiefs.

Wrong.

If you give up a TD, there is a huge difference between being down 3 (now) or just 2 (if we kick).
