Burrow said some players not the whole team still thinking about whether to play. And Burrow wanted to play. Many players wanted to play. Zac did not say anything about it so why is there assumption they did not want to play. Burrow said to do whatever the Bills want is a nice offer when Hamlin's status was still unknown. The Bills should understand that offer as to agree to play on that Wednesday or do something about it, not leaving the Bengals the raw deal.
The awful thing is they only knew the whole deal at the same time as us when the NFL published it. They're now being shunned as many people tell them to just move on.
It's funny though that people were praising Zac and the Bengals for being classy at the time.
Now that the outcome didn't go in their favor, people have shifted. I think Hamlins recovery has changed the narrative too.
IF the Bengals forced this game to be resumed Mon...it's a terrible look.
Sometimes, you take a loss for good sportsmanship and that's the sacrifice part.
A sacrifice is easy if you get what you want anyeays.

Wrong. I am fine with cancelling the game. Just follow the rules for a cancelled game that are in the NFL rulebook that the NFL approves. This is not rocket science bro.

1. The Bengals win the AFCN, win or lose due to a better win % in less games. Baltimore has no say in that. The Bengals benefit from playing and losing one less game.
2. Buffalo has won one more game than the Bengals, in the exact same number of games played. If's and but's do not count here. The Bengals were ahead but did not win that game. It didn't happen. The fact of the matter is, they could have just as easily lost the game.
What are you saying if the Bengals were one game better in the same number of games and the Bills were leading in a game that was cancelled. Let me tell you--you're saying "tough cookies" because we have the better record in the same number of games played.
3. A coin flip only comes into play if Baltimore wins this Sunday and the results of this weeks games cause the Bengals and Ravens to be matched up in the WC round. A coin flip is fair because the Bengals benefitted from potentially losing one more game vs Bills.
To wrap it up....the Bengals were not screwed in any way shape or form and if you think they were, you're not being genuine or honest.
EDIT: after the dust settled, i do not believe the last paragraph of this post. I have corrected that in later posts but will not edit this post or thread title.
We are in a situation where the seeding would be be entirely dependent on who won that game. If the Bills won, they are 2 and the Bengals 3. If the Bengals won, then they would be 2 and the Bills 3.
The NFL is using both the neutral site and coin flip to remediate the fact that the Bills weren't able to beat the Bengals. The Bengals aren't given the same benefit.
The Bills got screwed out of a potential bye, but do have the benefit of hosting two games and getting the AFC title game at a neutral site.
The Bengals get what? They should have gotten a neutral site game with the Bills in the 2nd round if they won today.

OMG OMG!! The Bengals get not having to flip a coin for HFA in the WC round!!!!! yaaaaaaaaaa
^ That's the reaction that the league orifice would expect from the Bengals and their fans.

We will find out now how hosed we really are when they announce next week's game times. Will we be put on Saturday giving us a short week? Will we be placed on Monday giving us a short week going into the Divisional game?

Some of the refs may have some sympathy with the Bengals situation. Playing for the 2 seed on Monday Night. Change of rules to make up a completely new, flip-of-a-coin-for-home-field rule. Now, if Goodell were refereeing . . .
