It wasn't a hold. It was an "overpower"

Even the sportswriters are calling it a phantom hold.

You're on fire with the trolling right now, Marlon, midseason form. First a "Now that we have Andy out of the way" thread and now a "Whitworth blew it" thread.

It was not a hold, the guy fell down and the ref threw the flag.

Well, we've repeatedly been told Andy can't win a playoff game and is the reason we lost four straight, so now he can't screw it up for us, right?

Thought you were talking about Whitworth's whiff on the pick 6. Pressure from the impending defender caused AJ to throw it soft.

Even the Steelers twitter guy said it was a bad call. Whit got screwed and so did the team on that play.

Not the first phantom call that's been called against him.  I think there was a big one in the Arizona game.

Seattle game. Going for our second TD I believe. Big holding call on the HUGE pass play to AJ.

Yeah.   We have had a large # of bad calls in critical games, and several have been bad holding calls.   I know they make bad calls on everybody, but it really feels like the Bengals are targeted.

The weird one was when they picked up a holding flag on Pittsburgh. That made me hot. Not that the refs gave them the game or anything they beat us because they executed greatly on 3rd down. But it was still fishy on that play for me
