Bengals were at Marshall's pro day to see Khalan Laborn. Former 5 star recruit to Florida State but had several red flags before being kicked off the team. He finished his degree at Florida State before transferring to Marshall to continue his football career. Testing wise he would have been one of the top RBs at the combine this year.
4.44 Forty
6.92 3-cone
10.5 Broad Jump
38.5 Vertical Jump
23 Bench Reps!
He also had the production this season with 1513 yards on 302 carries 5 ypc.

I doubt they even look at him. Coache's kids and Captains are a long way from being kicked off a team.

The Bengals were at his Pro Day to look at him. Otherwise I wouldnt have mentioned him other than what I did earlier this off-season as a UDFA guy.

Zach Charbonnet UCLA good blocker and great runner. Really think he is everything the Bengals need

Roschon Johnson ..Texas...blocks well and low mileage per running behind Robinson and a load to bring down
I like Charbonnet, too!

I keep leaving Charbonnet out of my RB posts for some damn reason. He can do it all, block, catch, has good vision and burst.

Yup. A plus Gio Bernard or a slightly minus James Brooks.

Looks like the perfect RB for the Bengals to me after Bijan is gone. Was on others, but the more I look at Charbonnet the more he looks like the right fit

Sure does. I really like Gibbs and Spears but they aren't on Charbonnet's level as pass protectors. A passing Offense is what we are and
it is essential to have a good pass blocking RB. Wouldn't mind Charbonnet in the 2nd or 3rd or Roschon Johnson or Chase Brown in the
4th who are also really good in pass pro. Travis Dye is another out of Oregon.

Wouldn't be opposed to double dipping and grabbing Charbonnet and then Roschon

I think if we did that Mixon would most definitely be cut and yeah, those RB's fit big time what our Offense needs.

Well it's not a secret that I'm hoping for that to happen

Police have decided to recharge him after further investigating according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Just saw that. Still think the culture Zac, the other coaches and Katie are trying to build for the team doesn't really jive with Mixon's former, current and ongoing "issues".
I say we draft a RB early and get a vet RB2.

Evidently he went the extra mile and pointed the firearm at the other driver. He's been in the NFL for 5+ years, he's been highly disciplined to go this far and he goes stupid like this? People are baffling even when blessed with riches and many chances to redeem from past violent episodes.

Still plenty of decent veterans out there too.
Elliott
Fournette
McKinnon
Drake
Mack
I'm down for that plan, although I'd also be ok double-dipping in the draft with the second guy being selected on Day 3.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
Sorry for Party Rocking!

Said weeks ago I love him he’s been entertaining through some really dark times as a Bengals fan he just simply isn’t good enough for where we want to be.
Hope this doesn’t **** up his chances of getting another club.
What’s the maximum penalty he can get? American justice system is weird.

You'd think we have to take a RB on day 2 now for sure.

Yeah….he keeps digging his hole deeper and deeper instead of filling it in. Don’t know of any team who would take him…maybe at leagues minimum and certainly not at the contract he has now. Still, as much lip service as teams give about wanting only “high character” guys, someone will take chance on a cheap contract.
Plenty of vets still long for a job. The question becomes, are they willing to take a short term, team friendly deal? I have a sneaky suspicion that’s what the Bengals would offer.
