The one thing that sticks out was that Micheal Mayer was still on the board when we selected. It took me some time in agreement but this was a solid pick in todays NFL. Its about "Value".. 1) Can you protect the passer 2) Can you rush the passer 3) Stopping elite QB's from the secondary 4) Can you create explosive plays to score points. The guy is a freak athlete with questionable production in his time at Clemson. I'd call it a moonroof blocked from sunlight meaning a hot /cold motor that Lou and his former coach will fix . It was the right "solid" pick for the draft board presented and future contact situations. I've always said that this camp moves a year ahead. Lets move forward with this young guy and be excited! B+ PS trade up for in the 2nd for....?

An aggressive CB with great instincts to go grab the rock and compete on every snap. The one think that I like particularly about him is that he never seems to be out of position and ready to make a play. I love the pick but please introduce this kid to some Cincy food to gain weight. Yet another guy with a moonroof ceiling. B

This is a story of perseverance to dominance at the college level on the biggest stage . If your not familiar with this prospect all I can tell you is that this guy will be a fan favorite and a monster very soon in this offense with this QB. All he does is make play after play after play! What a timely pick! B+

I had to laugh when they picked " The RB" because its the perfect fit at the right time. A true one cut downhill runner with great hands out of the backfield. He reminds me quite a bit of Tiki Barber with those old Giants teams that ran the football emphatically. I believe that he can add about ten pounds to his frame, fix ball security and become an every down bell cow for this team. This is a great story of dedication and resilience to reaching a goal for both him and his brother getting drafted. Great pick in the 5th! A

A solid talent out of the Ivy league that brings great speed as a former track guy. There were many draft sites that had a 3rd or 4th round grade on him so this is great value and possibly a late round steal. I love the prospect but I still haven't seen an offensive lineman or tight end selected by a team desperately in need of depth so for me its a grade D+
