Not gonna lie, no natural OT on that PS. Though we are carrying 5 (including Ford) plus Collins.

Acvording to my (rushed) cap calculations, around $18.5 mil in cap space, at the moment.

Let's get Burrow & Tee done!

And maybe Reader, too.

RB Demetric Felton has been signed to the PS after being waived by the Browns yesterday

Raymond Johnson is not on the field.  It is likely he's been signed as a free agent elsewhere

by my count 1 to go.

That stinks for Johnson. I know we have been burned by injuries on the OL but we could have spared one fringe OL like Hill or Ford.

Let's be honest though, how many of these OL on the PS are actually going to be even halfway decent if needing to play offensive snaps in a game?
I'd bet maybe once in a blue moon, if ever.

You're probably better off picking up an experienced vet OL off the street than going with most of these PS OL.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

The Bengals official press release did not include Felton. That doesn't mean he isn't going to sign. It just means as if right now he hasn't signed
Officially, there are 2 open spot

Per Jeremy Fowler, Felton's signing is pending until he passes his physical tomorrow

Yeah, this is the only bummer right now besides the Ossai injury and Burrow not having his contract yet.

Thought we should of kept RJ3 on the roster. He played way too good not to be noticed. Mellow

See yah Hakeem, you were a decent backup at times...

All true, we will need to pick up a vet OL off the street if something bad happens.

He better start learning some moves.
He can't always get past NFL blockers on just athleticism alone.

Full roster with the 14 confirmed on the PS, and one pending a physical.

We lost WR/PR Taylor to the Bears' 53. Adeniji looks like he is in the Vikes' PS. And RJIII has not signed anywhere yet.

I.  53 Man Roster

A.  Offense = 25

QB (2): Burrow; Browning
RB (4): Mixon; C. Brown, T. Williams, Evans
WR (6): Chase, Higgins, Boyd; Irwin, Iosivas, C. Jones
TE (3): I. Smith; D. Sample, Wilcox
OT (4): O. Brown; J. Williams; Carman, D. Smith
OG (4): Cappa, Volson; Scharping (G/C), Ford (G/OT)
C (2): Karras; T. Hill (C/G)

B.  Defense = 25

DE (5): Hendrickson,,Hubbard; Ossai, C. Sample, Murphy
NT/DT (5): Reader, BJ Hill; Tupou, Carter, Tufele
LB (5): Wilson, Pratt; Davis-Gaither, Bailey, Bachie
CB (6): Awuzie, Taylor-Britt, Hilton; Turner, Ivey, J. Davis
S (4): Scott, D. Hill; Anderson, Battle

C.  Specialists = 3

PK: McPherson
P: Robbins
LS: Adomitis
------------
KR: T. Williams; Evans
PR: C. Jones

II.  PUP List = 1
1. OT: Collins

III.  IR List = 4
1. OT: Cochran
2. DT: Maxwell
3. NT/DT: Pesefea
4. CB: Tell III

IV. Practice Squad = 16 max; 10 max at 2+ seasons, including 6 at 4+

1. QB: Grier, Vet #1
2. WR: Morgan, Vet #2
3. WR: Jackson
4. WR: Lassiter
5. TE: Hudson, Vet #3
6. G/OT: Kirkland
7. C/G: Gilliam
8. DE: Gunter
9. DT: D. Davis
10. LB: Heyward
11. LB: Murray
12. CB: S. Jones
13. CB: George
14. S: Thomas
-----------
15. Pending Physical: RB: Felton
-----------
16. Open

The 4 I would protect would be Grier, Jackson, Hudson, and D. Davis. Maybe Gunter.

So no Ben Brown on the practice squad? I thought he was one of the better backups in preseason.

I dont understand it either.  Ossai will miss a couple of games due to injury.  Murphy didnt do anything in preseason.  That leaves Cam Sample as your backup DE. I think they need more help than just Sample.  The Bengals could IR Ossai and bring Johnson III on to the roster but if Johnson were in plans, I think the Bengals would have protected him from the beginning.

Im a little surprised to see Heyward and Murray on the practice squad. I dont remember either of them doing much in preseason but Im not at practice every day so what do I know.

If I had to guess, Raymond Johnson is out there with some team waiting to pass a physical

I did read an article suggesting Kansas City should sign him.  That would be a blow.

I am surprised as well. Though I thought Gilliam also played pretty well. Thought they were both better than Ford/Hill, albeit vs inferior players.  Also thought they were both better than Kirkland.

Glad to get a lot of those guys back on the practice squad. Davis, Gunter, Hudson, Jones, George, Kirkland, Lassiter, and Jackson. George not as much this year as last preseason, but everybody else I listed showed potential worth developing and that they aren’t out of place on an nfl field.

Would have rather claimed Zappe but I guess Grier on ps is cheaper and we have big deals to save for.

Fingers crossed for a splashy outside vet for that last ps spot.
