Sunday's game in Nashville is going to be played in summer-like conditions of high 80s and bright sun. It's anything but a gimme, but if the Bengals win and Joe is still having his calf troubles then the next game in the controlled environment of AZ might be a good time to rest Joe. The Cardinals are very difficult to figure out but their QB is way overrated.

Big question mark remains our offense unfortunately. Until that gets fixed these games are going to be sweats.
Titans offense is MISERABLE and their secondary is terrible. If there was ever a "get right" game, this is it. It's not a good matchup for the Titans.

Am I crazy for thinking the offense wasn't bad on Monday?
Burrow looked capable. The offense was moving the ball but stalled on the Higgins drops, the two false start penalties, and the Burrow interception (almost a flukey play).
There were a lot of points left out on that field, players just didn't make plays. It wasn't anything like the Cleveland game where we were just incapable of moving the football.

I think the time to rest Joe would be AFTER the Cardinals game. You win the next two, then go into Seattle with Browning (or whoever) and basically play with house money while Burrow rests for 3 weeks over the bye.

Not to further go off topic but the shittiest part of the deal for Denver is that even if they lose every game this season, it really won't help them much as their 1st round pick is owned by Seattle for Wilson. Denver sucks, and will likely suck for several seasons. Sean Payton really put himself in a great position by taking that job in Denver..

We can say that, now that they've been exposed. Prior to that game, all of the talking heads had them in the top 3 of NFL "power rankings".

Denvers Defense didnt Exist lol
Looking at the stat lines Tua Vs Wilson.... they completed the Same # of passes for almost the same yards. 4td vs 1 though...
Which is amazing when you look at the scoreboard. although 350 yards rushing helped im sure
AFC just hopes Denver is that bad and Miami is not that good.

Nope, not crazy at all. That's the way I saw it. In fact, since halftime of the Baltimore game, the offense has looked at least good enough.

I'm hoping he gets better and doesnt need the rest. I plan on attending the Seattle game and would suck if he was sitting out. But whatever is best for his health.

Nope, the offensive line is good and the weapons are excellent.

The offense, at least passing offense, was pitiful. Burrow has really, really struggled with his injury. He has been one of the most inaccurate QBs in the league so far and has struggled to drive the ball where it needs to go. Mixon has been running well, but the main engine of this offense is sputtering hard. A lot of fans have been saying "The receivers dropped the passes" or "That interception was crazy" which is all true. Let's remove those and see how well he played. If we removed the interception, all of the drops, throwaways, and batted passes, Joe posted an 81 passer rating. It doesn't take much further analysis to know that an 81 rating in the modern day NFL is quite bad.
Joe has been bad. There is no way around it. It is mostly due to his injury and then you have the terrible weather week one, but he has been bad. He looked great in week two prior to re-injuring his calf.

Joe Burrow's practice reps will be at a premium the next few weeks.

No doubt. The fanbases for each of those teams probably think they'll beat us.
