Creating a whole new position for a passing game coordinator is a bit of a surprise.

I would think the Passing Game coordinator is essentially the assistant QB coach with expanded or perhaps now acknowledged job responsibilities but we'll see. I wonder if they will be adding to the defensive coaching staff Winning makes believers of us all

No objections from me with these moves. I'll remained concerned about all-things OL related.

Really like the passing game coordinator role. The more minds we have trying to figure out stuff the better IMO.
The boys are just talkin' ball, babyyyy

I like that Rascati's previous position was assistant offensive line coach. Maybe he can help the Bengals with protections as part of his role with the passing game.

While I agree in theory, the reality is that if all of the minds are shitty (we know they aren't), then, 50 of them wouldn't matter: quality over quantity and let's hope he is of the quality variety.

Maybe we'll see Chase targeted like JJ. I like that he has an Oline background. That is something to note. Maybe this is their way of hiring an Oline coach given the FO won't let them fire Pollack.

Are they going to get Vrabel any help on the defensive line or secondary? Right now the secondary is not that good. We can say they are young but are they going to get better with more experience? You never know. I hope they do because last year was a pretty bad. On the defensive line they have 1 quality DT signed in Hill. At DE they have Hendrickson who is horrible against the run because he would rather ignore the run game so he can pad his sack count. At the other DE spot you have Hubbard who struggled this year. Will Murphy make a big step up this year? Lets hope he does. The D line still needs help especially the interior. Lou cant work miracles with the current defense and neither could Vrabel. The defense needs more talent added to it.

I think the secondary could take a step forward next season. Battle showed to be solid, CTB is a good one. Turner is iffy. Many are questioning Dax, and rightly so, but he is an uber athletic and supposedly very smart player. Check out Jessie Bates performance during the Super Bow season compared to Dax in 2023:

Battle also did very good when he got the playing time. I dont know about Dax Hill or Turner for that matter. They need to play better. We also lost Awuzie unless we re-sign him so that is another loss we need to replace. Even though Awuzie didnt play great last year, he was coming off the knee surgery.

Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.
