2024 Combine (and FA) Dates

some questions just like everybody. Yes, sad Fiske has that short of arms, I liked that guy for us in the 3rd. Maason Smith will probably
be shooting up the boards with those measurements.

Geno Atkins was measured at the Combine at 6'1.375"

https://ras.football/2019/12/31/geno-atkins-ras/

I'm not dogging Murphy necessarily, just saying that 6'0" is not actually ideal.
The preferred height and size of 3T is 6'2"-6'4", 300-310 lbs.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Surprised Geno measured that tall lol

I always remembered the other DL towering over him in practice. The low man wins is all I know. Height can hurt or help depending on the
players balance and anchor.

He likely appeared shorter as time went on, from his spine getting compressed from carrying the team for so long.  Ninja

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Ha ha, yeah, he was our best player for awhile alright.

Loved how he slammed Guards and Centers into the QB lol

Remember that guys like Margus Hunt were tall AF.
Hunt - 6'8"
Still - 6'5"
Clarke - 6'6"
Dunlap - 6'6"

That was the Bengals' M.O. back in the Marvin era - Big, long dudes.
Only now are we seeing them start to go with smaller guys who are faster.

True. I like how we have changed that. Prefer players who can get to the QB regardless of their height.

Fiske ran a 4.78. Absurd. He's having a great combine.

Scary seeing a near-300 lb guy running as fast as a LB or TE.

A couple other things I like about Fiske:

When just about everybody from FSU sat out of their Bowl Game; he didn't

Had a great Senior Bowl week.

Would love to get him in stripes

366 is basically what he was listed at Texas when he was playing (362), so if people thought he was good in college, he's still about the same size.

FWIW, Terrence "Mount" Cody was about identical size.
Cody - 6'4", 370 lb
Sweat - 6'4", 366 lb

But Sweat is blowing him away in the measurables:

40: 5.27 to 5.71
10 Split: 1.8 to 1.98
Vert: 26" to 20.5"
Broad: 8'2" to 7'6"

Yes, Fiske is just improving his stock as well on top of all you say here. Wouldn't surprise me if he goes in the 2nd round now and most
had him as a 3rd rounder before this.

Wild, didn't expect Sweat to do this well at the Combine, he is also improving his stock. Probably won't make it to our 2nd rounder now.

We will probably have to trade back out of the first and grab him if Sweat becomes a Bengal.

Couple of things from PK and Milz at the combine.

Fiske: Coming into the combine he was 14th of 1620 DTs on RAS score since they've been tracking since 1987. He did nothing at the combine to disprove that score.

Sinnott (TE): it's pronounced SIN-ET. Kid had a great interview with them.

If we could get them in RDs 2 and 3; I'd be happy.

Another thing PK and Milz brought up about Fiske. is he was the player at the Senior Bowl asked to switch teams and he was great about it.

What a relief, I liked him while watching him in a game they ultimately lost in October.  However, I was worried that the correct pronunciation might be sin-NOT, which said quickly could be construed as SNOT.  How awkward would that have been to have a good rookie TE that everyone thinks his name is synonymous with mucous membrane...
