2024 Combine (and FA) Dates
#41
I didn’t think Newton would break 6’2.

Sweat surely slimmed down to 366 for the event…… He’ll beat 380 by camp.

Byron may be off my first round board at 6’0.

He had a great Senior Bowl too.

I liked Fiske until I found out he was the same age as some of our other DL like Carter, Tufele, and Sample.

But it looks like the measurables are gonna put him back on the wishlist.

In what world do you pronounce ott as et?  Does Willie Gay Jr. get to say his last name is actually pronounced as Guy now?

...on Chop Robinson from NFL.com...

"We knew he was an elite athlete, and he proved it, becoming the second player in the last 20 combines to run a sub-4.5 40 and post a broad jump of at least 10-foot-6 after weighing in at 250-plus pounds. The only other player to do so was former 49ers tight end Vernon Davis in 2006."

40: 5.27 to 5.71
10 Split: 1.8 to 1.98
Vert: 26" to 20.5"
Broad: 8'2" to 7'6"

That's a good thing because Cody did not have a good NFL career.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Fiske: Coming into the combine he was 14th of 1620 DTs on RAS score since they've been tracking since 1987. He did nothing at the combine to disprove that score.

Sinnott (TE): it's pronounced SIN-ET. Kid had a great interview with them.

If we could get them in RDs 2 and 3; I'd be happy.

I had both of these guys in my January mock, so I would be happy to see both added.
Sinnott met with the Bengals at the Combine?

Quinyon Mitchell probabaly just went from "Who? From Where? Wait did you say Toledo?" to a potential top 10 pick with a 4.33 forty.

Not sure I'm a fan of a sub-6'4" TE.

I'll be curious to see how Theo Johnson moves.

He would fit nicely into our Defense.

Selfishly, I don't want to see another DB drafted early this draft.
They've already spent so much draft capital into that position group the past few drafts in CTB, Hill, Turner, Battle, and even Ivey.
They need another veteran if anyone.

Brock bulked up to 243 pounds eh? Was hearing from some posters he was only 230 pounds before this.

Doesn't matter to me, Brock Bowers was probably the best YAC TE ever in college. I care more about on field play than these things.

Being 6'3" didn't hurt Bowers in college, as a matter of fact he has been the best TE in the Nation for years. Last year he was the best TE
and that was the deepest Draft for TE's in quite awhile. He just decided to play for another year.

Bring back Chido. He should be much better this year with the injury even further behind him.
