Personally I would love to sign Onwenu. He is the best proven vet available at RT and he is young. Sign him and protect Burrow's right side instead of drafting an unknown at RT. He would be my #1 target followed by #2 getting Reader re-signed.

Looking at the list of the top available FAs, there isn't much available.
I was hoping we would be in the mix for Chris Jones, but thought it was unlikely we land him.
I don't see much as far as top end DTs available right now. Reader is probably the best but his injury is worrisome.
I'm hoping the Bengals get the 1st DT off the board in the 1st round this year.
Other needs would be Right Tackle/Guard and Onwenu played right tackle by the sounds of it. I don't know much about him though. He is only 26..
That would eliminate the need to draft a RT high.
Seems like a lot of older vets on the top 100 list. A lot of players got re-signed late so this FA period seems less exciting than recent years.
There are plenty of good players available. Also, with big money signings become cap casualties. Anyone cut does not count against compensatory picks.
In the past, some very good players became available through cuts.
I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

IDK the terms on Chido so hard to say.
I do like the Stone signing. Good value there. We overpaid for Sample but 3/$10.5 isn't back breaking. Almost half this year.
My Reader + L. Williams + S upgrade dream lives (knock on wood).

3yr/$36m, $23m guaranteed (not sure if that's actual guaranteed at signing or fake inflated for reporting guaranteed)
Either way, all more than I thought he'd get.

1,500 snaps at RT is still plenty enough to know he's much better than Jonah. And his grades show he's better at RT too.

Good to know. Like I said, I don't know much about him. NFL.com said he's great at guard and even better at tackle. But like I said, I haven't watched him play.
He does fit the mold of a young player (26), and he's listed as the 4th best overall player right now on NFL.com.
Are there better options out there for RT in terms of overall skill?
Are there better options out there for RT in terms of value--cost vs. how talented they are?
At this point if we can't get a home run signing, I'm expecting a lot of day 2/3 pickups of lesser known ascending players that are budget friendly. But we have lots of cap space and Tee now wants a trade, so it doesn't look likely we're spending big on him.
All in all, I might prefer signing Tee to a big deal as well as Jamarr. But if there were an elite DT or RT I think pairing that signing with Jamarr would be better. If the options aren't available then Tee would make sense in my eyes.

I think they've gotta give the $$$ to Onwenu and a DT.

No doubt. But the scuttbutt on some Pats sites is he prefers to play guard.
